Summary:

Your holiday season is about to get deliciously naughty!
The bad boys and girls of the Winterland are back for the conclusion of Alice and Scrooge’s story. This tale is mad, dark, twisted, sexy, and nothing like the legend you know.

Life for Alice Liddell should be normal. Work, family, and her general sucky life back at her parent’s house, working as a slutty-looking elf in Santa’s shop. But from the moment Alice wakes up from a terrible fevered dream, nothing feels ordinary.
With visions of strange creatures, an obsession with creating top hats until her hands bleed, and an inexplicable attraction to her married neighbor, Matt, she feels like she’s going crazy.
When her illusions of twin elves, singing penguins, and sexy reindeers start to turn into full blown hallucinations, her family feels they have no choice but to find her help.
Her therapist is Matt’s wife, Jessica Winters, someone Alice feels in her gut she shouldn’t trust. But he more Alice loses her touch on reality, the more her parents turn to Jessica.
In one night, Alice loses everything, landing her in an insane asylum where she learns Jessica is not at all who she seems. As Alice’s mind cracks further, her visions feel more like memories.
She’s in a fight for her life against the mad ruler of the institution. Except who will believe her? She’s the insane one, the one who gets visits by ghosts of holiday icons.
But one thing good about going mad? In some places being bonkers is exactly what you need…
To ascend from the madness.

My Thoughts:

When I first finished the first book I was completely in shock, I wanted to have the second book right away so that I knew what was going to happen. So, when this book showed up on my kindle, I was super excited to dive into the book. I didn’t think that I would love this book more than the first one because this was just as amazing. Just like in the last one I loved how Alice would swear with Christmas themes. I was right along with Alice when she fell down the rabbit hole. I read this book in one sitting because I just got completely sucked in and didn’t want to leave.

I loved how Stacey was able to take such a classic book and turn it into something even more amazing and make it Christmas themed.

Alice and Scrooge have made this book one that I will have to read every Christmas to get more into the spirit. I loved everyone in this book Hare, Pen Dee and Dum. They all made this book so amazing.

I don’t want to give away too much of the story because its just that good imo. If you love Alice in Wonderland and Christmas, then you will love this story.

My Review Tit for tat. These are the rules I live by.But don’t think this is some kind of cutesy story of a boy and a girl with a simple misunderstanding. This a story of a girl who hates and a boy who loves. This is a story about how weakness became my strength. This is our story.Drifter is a stand-alone in the Commander in Briefs Series. The series has crossover characters from each novel. It is not required to read the books in order but it is recommended to enhance the reading experience of the series.Synopsis:BiancaPretty things don’t distract me. In my line of work, a distraction will get you caught. Or in my case, blackmailed. But this isn’t the only time I’ve been hustled, and soon Connor Hayes will learn that men are only pawns in my end game. I don’t love. I hate. Even a pretty boy like him.HayesTwo wrongs don’t make a right. Except when they are five-foot-seven and hotter than my exhaust pipe. So, I blackmailed her. It was either that or turn her in. I figured if anyone was going to put her in handcuffs, it was going to be me. Bianca Morgan stole the only woman I’ve ever loved. It’s only fair she replace her. My Review Ramsey Badd, last of the triplets— the wild man. An explorer, hunter, outdoorsman, and avowed, die-hard bachelor, Ramsey has watched his brothers fall one by one for Alaskan beauties. He’s determined to resist. So is she—and she’s even wilder than he is. My Review He’s young. Dirty. Rich. And all he cares about is ruining her life. She knew being the new girl at Wildwood would never be easy, considering who she is.But nobody warned Tinsley Sullivan I’m not her friend anymore. I’m the enemy, and I can’t wait to bully her until she does as I say. They say my name like I’m their king. Crispin Dalton. Lacrosse god. Insta-famous. Drop dead gorgeous, and only eighteen.Teachers and students worship the ground I walk on. They all follow my lead… Except for her.Teen actress. Pop star sensation. Broken beyond belief. She’s as beautiful as she is damaged, and I can’t help but push those buttons.I didn’t think Tinsley would have it in her to fight back. It’s kind of adorable that she won’t budge, refusing to break for me, to submit to my cruel desires.Except I’ll never stop pushing for more. I’m ready to make her life so miserable, she’ll be begging me to stop hurting her. There’s just one thing that’s messing it all up. My crush on Tinsley is still just as intense as it was before everything went to hell. But Tinsley is off limits. Not just because of the scandal that ruined her acting career. But also because I’m kind of, sort of, dating her best friend… My Review Her love could set me free from the shadows…Seeing CoCo Becket for the first time, made my heart start beating again. It changed everything. Before her I had no purpose, no reason to live. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever met, I couldn’t help but fantasize about kissing her plump lips or having those sky blue eyes staring back at mine, seeing beyond what I truly was. Broken and ashamed. My desire for her ran deep, deeper than I expected it too. She was a Goddess and I was simply caught up in her glow, I couldn’t say no. Not to her kindness, and not to my need to be near her.CoCo was the good in life where I was the bad. She became the sun to my never ending darkness. When a mysterious situation brings us together, I discover that I’ll do anything to keep her safe. Even if it means risking my own life, to save hers.Because before her, love was just a word I’d heard in passing…and now I’ll destroy anyone that tries to take her, or that love away from me. My Review This is a story of unspoken words and how loud they can be.Connor Bourke and I met when we were twelve years old. He was a quiet boy with so much to say and only one way to say it—through song. He’d lost his best friend to cancer, so I showed him there was love and life in loss, and to hold on to his memories, always.Eloise Mitchell was a blazing fire when my world turned dark. She’d shined so bright and burned so fierce that the wall I’d built around myself simply melted to the ground at her feet.We shared everything together:Our first kiss, first love, first mistake, and first regret. She taught me to speak,to forgive, and to never forget.Through his music, he could say all he needed to say except for, ‘I love you’.I could never tell her those three words.Yet, I knew he meant them, that he loved me beyond all measure, beyond time… beyond a broken heart.I loved her more than anything. Our bond was unbreakable. Our love was ever after. But, then, we tend to destroy the ones we love the most. And all bonds break, especially when the heart is what holds them together.Unspoken Words is a love story, not a romance. My Review Two sisters. One unsolved murder. A sickening plot for revenge. When Mackenzie Wright attends her first real high school party, held somewhere deep in the woods of her small California town, no one expects to wake up the next morning to news of a gruesome murder. Especially not her own sister’s.No suspects. No motive. No convictions.Just one unsolved murder and whatever’s left of the now deserted town.Mackenzie has spent years with her sister’s death weighing heavily on her shoulders, but it isn’t until she stumbles across a photograph that changes everything for her. The memories, everything from that night, come flashing back in high-speed technicolor and Mackenzie soon finds herself obsessed with the truth.Determined to find out what really happened to her sister, Mackenzie relies on that one photograph to give her the answers she needs by embedding herself into the lives of five of the wealthiest men in Los Angeles. Consumed by her need for revenge, Mackenzie infiltrates the world of the rich and elite, only to come face-to-face with an alluring complication in the form an elusive playboy. When enemy lines are drawn, Mackenzie has to choose between her loyalty to her sister and the man who has stolen her heart. My Review Your holiday season is about to get deliciously naughty…What if Alice Liddell’s story didn’t happen the way you think? What if it wasn’t Wonderland she fell into, but Winterland. This mad tale is dark, twisted, sexy, and nothing like the legend you know. After losing her job and finding her boyfriend/boss cheating on her with her replacement, twenty-five-year-old Alice Liddell has moved back home to save money and regroup. She doesn’t think things can get worse until her younger, more responsible sister, Dinah, gets her a job—as a Christmas elf.Dressed in a slutty costume with fathers peeking down her top and kids vomiting on her, she wants nothing more than to escape the reality of her life. When she sees a sexy, shirtless man, carrying a glowing red light, and bearing antlers, her curiosity gets the better of her. But following him might be the biggest mistake she ever made.Falling into another realm, Alice finds herself in the world of holiday legends and fairytales. But she is not prepared her for the dark madness of this place. Nothing is what is seems and no one is what they are in the fairytales.Even the mysterious, sexy Scrooge.Welcome to Winterland, where the good guys from the North Pole have gone bad, and the only way to survive is to descend into its madness.  My Review Lucas Badd…the Baddest of them all, he’s patriarch of the clan, a man with the size and temperament of a grizzly bear whose past holds the keys to not only his own future, but also the way everyone connected to him will move forward as a family.Who can tame a man this wild?Olivia Goode. A widow, a mother, and a woman who is Lucas’s opposite in every way imaginable. If anyone can, it would be her, but the real question is whether she can move past her own tragedy to see the man beneath the grizzly bear exterior, and whether Lucas has the courage to face his demons and become the man he’s spent the last forty years pretending not to be. My Review Delaney Mills is haunted by darkness. Not of a spiritual kind, but a terrible past that all the rum in the world cannot chase away. Enter Valentine King, a sexy and irresistible man with connections to the world of Voodoo—a world that Delaney is desperately trying to break into.Chicago-native Delaney follows her dissertation research all the way to the streets of New Orleans. With King’s help, she uncovers a covert group called the Bondye Saints. The group wants to remain a secret and will do whatever it takes to keep the two quiet. But threats and attacks on her life don’t deter Delaney’s desire to expose the Saints’ sins. While she’s willing to risk her own life, Delaney hates that the one man who can chase away her darkness is put in danger. But Valentine King refuses to let her go. Because in his world built on faith, Delaney Mills is the one thing he believes in. […]
