If you decide to send me your book I would be more than happy to review it for you and give my honest thoughts on it. I only accept E-books EPUB currently. If you are self published I will still be more than happy to read your book and review it for you.

I will also be featuring your book on my Instagram and Goodreads.

Reaching a perfect 5/5 rating for a book is a challenging feat that requires a significant emotional investment from me as a reader. I find that the books truly deserving of such a high rating are the ones that manage to elicit genuine, heartfelt emotions or establish an unbreakable connection between me and the characters. When I read a book, I want to feel like I am right there in the story, as if I am a silent bystander living through the experiences and challenges alongside the characters. There have been a decent number of books that have managed to accomplish this extraordinary effect on me and always want to encounter more. Those select few have not only made me sob like a newborn baby but have also compelled me to form a deep bond with the characters. They have transported me into their world, allowing me to vividly imagine their surroundings, feel their joys and sorrows, and experience their trials and triumphs. However, just because your book may not have an identical impact on me does not mean it won’t be exceptional. Each reader has their own unique connections and responses to different stories. While I have certain criteria for giving a perfect rating, it does not diminish the value that your book may hold for other readers. I promise to provide you with my honest opinions, as subjective as they may be, and I hope that you can respect and appreciate my perspective on your work.

Receiving a rating of 6 for a book is an incredibly difficult feat to achieve. It goes beyond the already impressive accomplishment of receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. To earn that elusive 6, a book must have an extraordinary impact on me, surpassing the influence of any other book I’ve ever encountered. The book needs to engage my mind, spark curiosity, and encourage me to contemplate the world around me in a whole new light. The bar for a rating of 6 is set remarkably high, demanding a level of uniqueness and innovation that is rarely encountered. It requires a captivating narrative, compelling characters, and masterful storytelling that grips me from the very first page and keeps me enthralled until the very last word. A book that achieves this level of impact to be treasured and celebrated. It has the power to leave a lasting impression, shape our thoughts, and even influence our actions. Such a book is truly a remarkable work of art. So, the next time you come across a book that receives a rating of 6, remember the immense significance behind that rave review.

6 Stars – FEELS!!!!

This book has reached a level I didn’t think was possible, My emotions spanned from intense sadness and vulnerability with sobbing uncontrollably, to the overwhelming frustration and irritation that would lead to an urge to toss my Kindle across the room and the emotions elicited were both deeply emotional and intuitive, showcasing the profound effect that the book had on me.

5 Stars – Was fantastic and exceeded my expectations

The feeling of being so captivated by a book that you yearn to live in. Books have this incredible power to transport us to different places and evoke strong emotions within us. The “book hangover” that I experienced is a testament to the author’s skill in crafting a captivating story that deeply resonates with readers. It’s both a blessing and a curse to be so emotionally invested in a book. On one hand, it’s a testament to the author’s ability to create a rich and immersive world that we wish we could be a part of. On the other hand, it can be difficult to say goodbye to those characters and that world once the story comes to an end. But isn’t it fascinating how books have the power to ignite our imaginations and make us question why the world they’ve created can’t be real? They allow us to escape from reality for a while and experience a different reality filled with adventures, mysteries, and fascinating characters. And even though we can’t physically enter those worlds, the impact they leave on us lingers long after we’ve turned the last page. While we may not be able to live in the world of said book, we can cherish the memories it created within us. We can carry the lessons learned, the emotions felt, and the experiences imagined, as they become a part of our own story. And who knows, perhaps there are other books out there waiting to sweep us off our feet and transport us to them.

4 Stars – Was very good

The content of the book was truly remarkable and captivating. From the very beginning, I was completely drawn into the story, eagerly turning the pages to see what would happen next. The author’s storytelling ability was exceptional, effortlessly weaving together engaging characters and intricate plotlines. The book was a delightful and immersive experience, transporting me to different worlds and allowing me to deeply connect with the story and its characters. Every chapter presented new twists and turns, keeping me on the edge of my seat and eager to uncover the next surprise. It was a literary masterpiece that grabbed hold of my attention and refused to let go. The way the author crafted the narrative was truly commendable, blending suspense, emotion, and thought-provoking ideas. I found myself emotionally invested in the characters, rooting for their successes and feeling their pain. There were moments of joy and moments of heartache. I found myself staying up late into the night, unable to put the book down as I was swept up in its spellbinding world. The combination of the compelling story and the author’s impeccable writing style made this book an absolute gem. It left a lasting impression on me, and I cannot recommend it enough to fellow book lovers. Truly, it was a read that will stay with me for a long time to come.

3 Stars – Could use some improvement

To capture my attention and make the content more exciting, consider incorporating vivid storytelling techniques, unexpected plot twists, descriptive language, and interactive elements. Creating compelling characters and engaging me emotionally can also enhance the entertainment value of the content. It’s important to understand the preferences of your target audience and tailor the content accordingly for a fulfilling and thrilling reading experience.

2 Stars – Wasn’t worth the time reading

While reading there was a disconnect, it wasn’t my cup of tea and was struggled to fully immerse myself in the narrative. There was a lack of enthusiasm as the story unfolded. Despite this overall disengagement, some moments stood out and some compelling elements within the story managed to keep my attention but for the most part was a snooze.

1 Star – Was unable to finish, no connection/no feelings

It can be disappointing when a book doesn’t captivate me or make me want to continue reading, resulting in a Did Not Finish (DNF) situation. When we invest our time and emotions into reading a book, we hope that it will resonate with us, evoke various emotions, and keep us engaged until the last page. However, not all books can fulfill these expectations. Every reader has different preferences, and what works for one person may not work for another. It’s important to remember that giving a low rating or expressing dislike for a book doesn’t necessarily reflect negatively on you as an author. Each reading experience is subjective, and it’s perfectly acceptable to have different opinions about a piece of literature. When encountering a book that doesn’t resonate with you and makes you consider giving it a one-star rating or labelling it as a DNF, it’s helpful to reflect on your reading preferences, the genre, writing style, plot, characters, or pacing. Remember, reading is a personal journey, and it’s okay to have diverse opinions about the books that I read. It’s essential to respect the efforts put into writing and understand that not every book I will be able to connect with. Exploring different genres and authors can broaden our horizons, allowing us to discover new favourites or hidden gems that we might have otherwise missed. So, if you find out that I have given a one-star review or declared your book a DNF, remember that it’s just all the things that are taken into account.
