Summary:

Avery North was already running from trouble when her car broke down on the outskirts of Industry City. With no money and no way out, her only option was to make a living in the ruins of a concrete jungle, where the souls of its residents were as cracked and broken as the pavement they walked on.

Now Avery has found herself marked and hunted by the evil lurking in the shadows of the city, and she must quickly decide who she can trust to save her, and who will lead her to destruction. In the corrupted heart of Industry City, the darkness takes what it wants…and it’s coming for her.

My Thoughts:

The author of this book contacted me about reading her book and I excepted because it sounded interesting. Its not a genre that I would normally read but I’m glad that I did because this was a unique story. Its unlike any that I have read before. It is a little shorter then normal books but that doesn’t matter because this book has a lot happening that it makes it seem like the story goes on longer than the page number. I feel like I don’t want to say to much because I might accidently spoil the story but that is only because this is defiantly one that you all need to check out. Even if you’re not a fan of Dystopian/Horror like me, I think you will become a fan of this one. The best part is, currently its free on Kindle Unlimited.

Avery is running from trouble that arises when her car breaks down and she’s stuck. It doesn’t help that she’s in a town where she doesn’t know anyone. One of the things that I loved about this book was, as soon as I thought I had everything figured out and nothing else was going to be thrown at Avery then BAM something happened, it always kept me guessing.

I cant wait an read the next one to see what happens.
