Summary:

Before. Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home. His whole life has been one big non-event, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave “the Great Perhaps” even more (Francois Rabelais, poet). He heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. Because down the hall is Alaska Young. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. She is an event unto herself. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. Then. . . .
After. Nothing is ever the same.

My Thoughts:

Looking for Alaska was the 3rd book that iv read by John Green. The first one was The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns.

This book follows Miles on his journey to Alabama to go to a boarding school and a chance to make some friends. On his first day he meets his roommate Chip and meets the beautiful Alaska.

John Green does another amazing job with this book. it has everything from love, life, death and friendship.

This book is emotional following Alaska’s journey.

Miles meets the girl of his dreams Alaska. There journey at the boarding school is one that you want to be apart of. You defiantly feel every emotion reading this.

Its not like the typical ya book because it doesn’t have a happily ever after. Putting that aside its still an amazing book.

Even after all these years since I read it. Its still one that I think about an is one that I do want to read again in the future.
