Summary
For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They’re just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck.
Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody’s talking. When Janie taps into a classmate’s violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open — but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie’s in way over her head, and Cabe’s shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both.
Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability — and it’s bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a dream catcher sealed, but what’s to come is way darker than she’d feared….
My thoughts:
Reading this book, I think I like this one just a little more then the first one. The relationship that happens between Janie and Cabel does get rocky at times but that’s every relationship. When they did have sex, I was so happy because reading the book you can tell that they wanted to. This book can be a little dark and intense at times but that’s what makes it so amazing.
Janie gets a box that has some papers in it and its supposed to help her with her with her ability to get into people’s dreams. In this one Janie is also trying to find a sexual predator at the school and must be careful that she doesn’t get caught. She also learns that there’s more than one.
I found that Janie was more interesting in this book than the last one. She has matured a lot sine the last one.
