I read these books when they first came out and absolutely loved them. I could easily read these books over and over again and not get bored of them.
” Your a Wizard Harry” one of my favorite lines.
This awesome book starts with a boy named Harry Potter who is 10 years old. Who lives with The Dursleys who are a horrible family. Mrs Dursley is Harry Potter’s mom’s sister. They make him sleep in the cupbord under the stairs.
On Harry’s 11th birthday he gets letter from Hagrid telling him that he needs to get to Hogwarts but his uncle takes the letter from him and burns it.
When Hagrid tells harry that hes a wizard he has no idea what hes talking about. He also tells Harry the truth about his parents, that they did not die in a car crash that they were killed by the one that shall no be named and that’s how he got the scar on his forehead.
Mr. Dursley tries to “forbid” harry from going to Hogwarts but he cant since he was already accepted .
When harry finally leaves i was so happy for him because he gets to go an live a better life. harry goes with Hagrid to buy the things that he is going to need for school. When they get to the shop to buy the things he introduces him self but he didn’t need to everyone already knew who he was because he’s famous his name is everywhere. At first he is confused but then he figures it out.
As Harry is at Hogwarts he gets to fly a broom and play Quidditch (which seems like an awesome game to play) he also gets to learn potions from Professor Snape and other things. He becomes friends with Ron and the book nerd Hermione.
Harry, Ron and Hermione get into some trouble along the way but that’s part of any good book. I did not like Malfoy because he was a bully he made fun of Ron harry and Hermione when it wasn’t necessary but it was for the story. How could anyone make fun of Ron he’s so cute and adorable. By the end of it i want to be able to go to Hogwarts my self. Now that they have a park at Disney i’m dying to go and get a Butter Beer an even the pumpkin juice even though i know that i will probably hate it. I mean how could you not want to go an see the magic.
What else is there to say about Harry Potter other then its amazing and everyone needs to read it. It’s for all ages even if you think that you might not like it, there’s very few that do. if you want to watch the movies first then that’s okie. you can get the books after and read about the hidden things that maybe you missed watching it.
i give this book a 5/5 stars for sure.
