Demi Crawford was Magnolia Falls royalty.
I was the boxer from the wrong side of the tracks.
She was the epitome of everything good, while I was broody and rebellious.
We couldn’t be more different.
Her family was enemy number one which made her guilty by association.
I despised her before I even knew her.
It was easier that way.
But now she’d moved in next door to me, and she was everywhere I turned.
I couldn’t avoid her no matter how hard I tried.
She was beautiful and honest and sweet.
Everything I knew I shouldn’t want.
Shouldn’t need.

They say there’s a fine line between love and hate—and I don’t know when I crossed over.
I was so wrapped up in this girl I couldn’t see straight.
She was the right hook I never saw coming.
Hating her was supposed to be my end game.
Loving her… well, that was just the beginning.
But the secrets that lived between us threatened to tear us apart.
Lucky for her—I was a born fighter.
And she was definitely worth the fight.

Romeo is a boxer and small town gym owner and Demi is next door to him opening her own coffee shop. Being new neighbours Romeo already doesn’t like Demi because of her family and the past they have. With seeing her all the time he starts to realize that Demi had nothing to do with the past and just wants to truly know him, from then on, they have a wonderful chemistry that just grows from when they first meet. One of the things that I enjoyed about this was that Romeo was the one to fall first and he’s the sweetest he’s not a grump at all. Demi is one of my favourite characters with how strong and independent she is despite her family. This book got me feeling all warm an fussy, I cant wait to see who the next in the series is going to be.

A one-night stand with a sexy stranger has me in over my head and calling time out…

Most of my team celebrated our Monday Night Football win with family and a few drinks. I celebrated mine with a smoking hot brunette.

One wild night of passion, with chemistry off the charts, we had our fun. In the morning, just when I was thinking of asking her for one more night—she bolted faster than I can score a touchdown.

It’s my rookie year. I’m breaking records and our team is gearing up to head to the playoffs. A Championship win is the only thing I’m focused on. Until my one-night stand shows up at my doorstep on Christmas Eve and drops a present in my lap that turns my whole word upside down.

Maggie’s pregnant. And the baby is mine. My teammate’s think she’s after my multi-million-dollar contract, but I believe her. Either way, I’m not the kind of guy who walks away from his responsibilities.

Now Maggie’s living under my roof and getting under my skin. I want her close so I can take care of her and our future child.

If only I could keep my hands off her, my life would be a hell of a lot less complicated.

Davis and Maggie meet in an unexpected and funny way and they have chemistry right off the kick. They have a one night stand that completely changed their lives. They had a whirlwind of a story. Davis has a huge heart and wants to share it with Maggie he would do anything to make her happy. Maggie ends up taking a test and needing to tell Davis the news she pumps into him a few weeks later. I liked watching these two get together and have their ending.

A masquerade ball brings together an NFL player and a penniless princess in this smart and sexy romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills.

Level-headed Francesca Lane never thought she’d miss her own wedding. But when her fiancé betrays her, she puts on her wedding dress and ditches the altar for a masquerade ball—at a sex club.

There, she meets NFL star Tuck Avery, dressed as a prince and hiding behind a mask as he celebrates his birthday. For one night, Francesca and Tuck indulge in a wickedly incognito affair. No names. No strings. And the masks don’t come off.

Unfortunately, Francesca soon realizes her prince is the wealthy jock who lives in the penthouse of her apartment building. His hobbies include parties and supermodels—or so the tabloids say. Another shallow jerk is the last thing Francesca needs, so she vows to keep Tuck from recognizing her, not that she’s his type anyway.

But fate has a teeny-tiny trick up her sleeve… a plus sign on a pregnancy test. Can this tormented prince accept love, or will he push his princess away forever?

Princess and the Player is a complete stand-alone romance with nuanced characters and a swoony happily ever after.

I adored this book. Franchesca is having a run of bad luck and life is a total mess. She decides that she needs to have a night out and meet a sexy guy and have a one night stand because she plans to never see him again or she thought, they bumped into one another at a club and sparks start to fly and it’s game over for them both.

Reasons not to crush on Adam:
He’s my best friend’s brother.
He’s my neighbor.
He’s the captain of the hockey team.
He’s a serial monogamist who’s sworn off dating.

Reasons not to fake date Adam:
See above.
He has no idea I actually like him—like really like him.

But do I listen to any of those really great reasons? Of course not.
Now, thanks to my amazing and convincing acting skills, one fake date ends with him being my fake fiancé (oops!).
My bad crush has gotten me in way over my head
.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I thought that this was a great read.
Adam is the captain of the hockey team he’s also a relationship guy, but after his last relationship he decides that he wants to take a break from relationships and take a chance on being single for a while. Well, that’s until he gets the idea that Regan would be great to help him out in being his fake girlfriend.
Regan is majoring in theater and loves to act but when she’s around Adam she gets all shy and quiet. She has had a crush on Adam for two years. They are neighbors and always spend time together which makes it a little harder on Regan because he’s her best friend but one night can change everything.
I loved the group of friends that Regan and Adam have they made the story that more enjoyable. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

He’s one trick play from the biggest win of his career…

It was one night,
And it meant everything.
But then, I was drafted to a professional football team,
And that was it.

Or so I thought…

Now, she’s interning with the coaching staff,
And she’s my best friend’s sister.
Everything screams “Penalty,”
But there’s something about her,
A connection I can’t deny.

A woman like her only comes around once in a lifetime,
And I refuse to let her slip through my fingers again.
I’m going to pull out every trick play in the book,
To score forever with this one.

Trick Play is part of Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle Universe.

Oh my gosh, what a great short read.
Clay and Payton have known one another for a while but there have been some obstacles that they both had to get though. Clay was coming hell or high water to get Payton back because he didn’t want to lose her again.
Clay has some confidence issues when playing football and having Payton there to support him was awesome because she’s feisty and that’s just what Clay needs. They have amazing chemistry, and you can tell right from the start.
