Adam Stone is not a saint.
He’s six-foot-two, naughty blue eyes, cocky grin, and a bod blessed by the gods.
He’s a surfer, a soldier, a pilot, and he’s been my friend since I moved to our small town when we were just kids.

But another man took my hand.
He took my innocence, took my trust, and broke my heart.
I was young. I didn’t know love could be a weapon.
I didn’t know the hand that caressed you could also cut you.

Now that man is dead, and I’m a single-mom survivor wearing a mask so perfect, no one knows the truth. Trust doesn’t come easy, and surviving is a hard habit to break.

But when a plumbing disaster leaves me homeless, one night in Adam Stone’s (supposedly) empty bed changes everything.
I’ve hidden my scars so long, I don’t know how else to be, but I want to try.

I’m in love with Adam Stone. I love every glance, every wink, every protective touch…
He says he’s different. He says he loves me and my son, and he wants to take care of us.
I believe in this love.
All I need is a little luck.

(A LITTLE LUCK is a spicy small-town, single mom romance with elements of forced proximity, only one bed, who did this to you, he falls first, and a touch of suspense. No cheating. No cliffhanger.)

This book had made me feel emotions that I didn’t know were possible to feel. From the way that Adam was with Piper’s haunting past that left a few burses on her heart, Adam had been at a crossroads till he joined the military and was able to find his calling. One of the things that I loved is Adam was determined to prove to Piper that they were perfect for one another and seeing her grow into her happiness and how Ryan and Adam had so much love for one another and being a wonderful father figure.

A message meant for another. A love meant only for her.

If you love Holly Miller’s The Sight of You, Rebecca Serle’s In Five Years and Nicholas Sparks, you won’t want to miss the breathtaking love story of the year that will grip your heart in every way.
………………………………….
This year I am sending my last message to you. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to forgive myself, and I will never forget you, but I have to find a way to let you go.

When Lizzie is woken in the night by a text message clearly not meant for her, she is intrigued and haunted by the words she sees. After losing her beloved twin brother, she knows something of grief and the struggle to rebuild a life.

Nick, a widower for three years, is haunted by the disappearance and presumed death of his wife.

When these two lonely hearts are drawn together, an unexpectedly deep and powerful emotional connection is formed. Perhaps finally this is the chance for both of them to live again – if they can overcome scars of the past which have a longer reach than either could have imagined.

I had originally wanted to read the book because of the cover and the synopsis of the story. As I started to read it was something more than I thought it was going to be. It was a roller coaster of emotions, heartbreak, loss, friendship and so much more. I was able to read this book in one go, I couldn’t put the book down.

On the road to love, you don’t need a GPS…

Carla Black’s life motto is “here for a good time, not for a long time.” She’s been travelling the world on her own in her vintage Jeep Wrangler for nearly a decade, stopping only long enough to replenish her adventure fund. She doesn’t do love and she doesn’t ever go home.

Eamon Sullivan is a modern-day cartographer who creates digital maps. His work helps people find their way, but he’s the one who’s lost his sense of direction. He’s unhappy at work, recently dumped, and his one big dream is stalled out—literally.

Fate throws them together when Carla arrives in Dublin for her best friend’s wedding and Eamon is tasked with picking her up from the airport. But what should be a simple drive across Ireland quickly becomes complicated with chemistry-filled detours, unexpected feelings, and a chance at love – if only they choose it.

I hate to say but this was my least favourite in the series. I couldn’t connect with the characters like I was with the others in the previous books. It was rushed in spots, and I thought that it could have taken a few more pages to get all the context out. There are some heavy TW/CW so be sure to check before reading.

He’s a disgraced actor. She’s the daughter of Hollywood royalty. Both are hiding in the Scottish Highlands, but despite their antagonistic attraction, they can’t seem to hide from each other…

North Hunter has worked hard to step out of the shadows of his orphaned upbringing into the limelight of Hollywood. He never imagined a dark moment from his childhood returning to destroy everything he’d built. Devastated, he finds comfort in the isolation of an exclusive members-only club in the Scottish Highlands, even if the club comes with a prickly estate manager who sets his blood on fire.

As the eldest daughter of a Hollywood legend, Aria Howard has learned the hard way that people will use her to get to her father. When her last relationship ended badly, Aria fled to Scotland. Running Ardnoch Estate provides distance from a life that has never fit comfortably. But when defamed Scottish actor North Hunter disrupts her sanctuary, Aria is on the defense. The cocky actor is the last thing she needs, and despite their searing attraction, Aria is determined to dislike him.

But one night of drunken forced proximity with North leads Aria to share insecurities seeded by her horrible ex. When North offers to prove her ex wrong by taking Aria to his bed for a no-strings distraction, they begin an affair neither expected. However, their fiery liaison leads to a deep emotional connection that unsettles them both, and North will have to break down more than Aria’s trust issues if they’re ever to have a future together. He’ll need to protect her from a past that just doesn’t want to stay buried… or lose something far more essential to his existence than his career.

Aria grew up in Malibu and is the eldest daughter of her famous parents. Looking for a fresh start she heads to the coast and runs Ardnoch Estate and is loving how quiet her life is. North grew up in Scotland, he had some hardships growing up, now he’s a famous movie star that can’t escape the paparazzi and new articles, he needs some time off and a break from all the excitement in LA so he heads to the Scottish Highlands to disappear for a while. When North arrives at the Estate, he sees Aria and it is all over for him and she doesn’t seem to be affected by him but truth be told Aria has walls up from her past relationships and doesn’t want to get her heart broken again. The way that these two navigate through one another’s hurtles was great but wonderful that North was able to give Aria her confidence back that she had lost with past relationships. This Is one of my favourite books by this author.
