Summary:

Our entire world has been turned upside down after a few nights of passion.

Love is in the air, commitments are being made, careers are being abandoned—nothing is easy. Except our sexual chemistry. Which is off-the-charts hot. But is it JUST chemistry, or is it more? We both want it to be more, but the question is, which one of us is going to be the first to risk heartbreak in order to find out? We both have dark pasts that are holding us back and may keep us from true happiness.

Intense sexual connection is easy…love, commitment, and figuring out the future? Well…that’s a whole lot harder.

And it’s twice as hard when you’re twins

My Thoughts:
I thought that the first book about the twins was intense oh boy! This one this picks up from where the last one ended. You definitely get hooked from the first chapter. This one is Canaan and Aerie’s story. Their story is more serious than Tate and Corin. This book will have you on an emotional roller coaster and you don’t want to get off because you want to see it through.

I absolutely love this series, Jasinda Wilder does not disappoint. The Badd brothers are some of my favourite brothers.
I can’t wait to read Lucian’s story!

Summary:

Violet

When my mum gets sick, I volunteer to fill in for her and clean some hot jock’s penthouse. I’ve heard all the rumors about him, so the plan is get in, clean some toilet bowls, and get out. After my last experience with a “sports hero,” I’m done with that sort of guy.

But Lucas Carter is full of surprises. He wants to help me clean and is nothing like the toad the press has made him out to be. Resistance may be futile for some girls, but not me. Then he asks me to help him with the interior design of his new place. I can’t say, no. It’s going to look great on my resume.

Unfortunately, spending time with Lucas is dangerous. He’s so charming and sweet, but I can’t let myself forget––once a player, always a player.

My Thoughts:

This is the first book that I have read by Christina and it was so good. The guy on the cover is smokin!

This was a fast-paced book that was filled with lots of chemistry between Lucas and Violet. It may only be a few hundred pages but there’s a lot packed into it.

Lucas has some insecurities, while reading you can really feel what he’s going through. I found that Violet was the perfect match for him because she balanced all that out.

Lucas is quite the charmer I loved reading about him.

This is one of my shorter reviews because I don’t want to spoil to much of the story.

I received this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

My Thoughts:
Jase loves Laura so much that he is willing to go to purgatory just to save her. Will he be able to save her in time? I loved that all the characters from the previous books are in this one. At the end of this book my heart just breaks for Jase. I was also surprised that we got to see a different side of Alex/ Urban I think I like this side of him. This is such a great third instalment, I can’t wait to read the next book.

Summary:

From the co-writing duo of Mindy Michele comes a tale of small-town charm and backroads trouble.

Seventeen-year-old Reagan seems like the perfect small-town girl. Dubbed a saint by her older brother, Lincoln, she serves the community, makes straight A’s, attends church, spends her summers working with special needs children, and is a piano playing prodigy.

When you’re the daughter of the mayor and the police chief in a sleepy Kansas town, toeing the line is easier than the alternative.

That is, until her brother’s best friend changes the rules.

Reagan’s been subject to Ridley’s antics her entire life. Growing up, he tormented and teased her, but he kept his distance—until now. When Ridley breaks a promise, late night phone calls and secret rendezvous in the haystacks quickly transform into a reckless, all-consuming love.

Some promises are meant to be broken. Some secrets will not be contained, and sometimes the consequences we render are more than we can bear.

My Thoughts:

This is the first book that I have read by these authors and after reading this I know it’s not going to be my last.

I’m completely blown away by this, I can easily say that this book is in my top 10 so far this year. This book had my emotions all over the place just within a few pages. I love when an author can make you feel different emotions at different times.

I loved the relationship that Ridley and Reagan had, they have known one another for there entire lives which I think added an extra something special to the story. I loved how Ridley used to be a player and stopped all these shenanigans just to be with Reagan.

Reagan is a young sweet girl who has insecurities just like everyone does.

Ridley is a cocky cowboy, an also a musician. I loved the way his relationship with Reagan development it wasn’t to fast or too slow I think it was just perfect.

The ending to this book has gotten me so apprehensive for the next one. I’m still dying to read it though.

I’m looking forward to Looking into these ladies’ other books

When Javelin is called to join a clan of Merrow soldiers bent on protecting their waters from human invasion, Lena resists Merrow law and ventures to the shore with no choice but to swim to land.

With newfound legs, Lena is whisked away on a new adventure with new friends and new trouble. Everyone seems to want something from her as intrigue lurks around every corner.

Trying her best to hide who she is and remain safe from the dangers of the human world, will Lena finally find where she belongs, or will she be swept into a strong and stormy current by lust, greed, and jealousy?

My Thoughts:

I’m a huge Disnerd and when I first heard about this book by Chantal I knew I had to get my hands on it when I found out it was The Little Mermaid retelling. This is also the first mermaid book that I have read, and I loved it. Chantal just as a way with words, she grips you in to the story within a matter of pages and you don’t want to leave.

This story follows a Merrow named Lena who dreams of becoming human. She’s convinced that it can’t be that bad as fellow Merrow tell her Right?

Lena is a wonderful leading lady. She’s brave yet afraid and I absolutely loved that about her.

This book had me reading till the wee hours of the morning because I needed to know how it ended. I can’t wait to have the next book.
