Stranger by Heather C Myers

This book isn’t one that I would normally read. It was very captivating from the very first chapter with the X-Man / Harry Potter feel to it which is amazing because I love both.

This book has the right amount of mystery and fantasy that keeps you flipping the pages to find out what happens.

The bond that these girls have is pretty amazing also.

If there was an actual school that was like X-man and Harry Potter wrapped in one I would totally want to go there.

Cryers Cross by Lisa Mcmann

This isn’t the first book that I have read by Lisa Mcmann I first read her wake trilogy and that was fantastic.

So I thought that I would pick up this book.

Kendall is shocked when someone from her hometown goes missing. It’s even worse for her because her OCD won’t let her forget. All she can think about is this girl, but then it happens again and it’s her best friend. That makes her ocd worse.

You can feel Kendall’s emotions and you just want to hug her. You feel like your going through it as Kendall.

Lisa Mcmann does an amazing job I was captivated from the first page.

It ends with us by Colleen Hoover

So I finished It ends with us a few days ago. I’m not sure how I feel about it. I’m a little confused. I do know that I really did enjoy it. I loved the connection between Lily and Ryle. I also felt like Atlas had the better connection with Lily. Maybe because they knew one another first. I’m not really sure. I have read similar stories to this one, but I feel like I didn’t connect as a reader to this one. I will give it another go soon to see if I still feel the same. I’m hoping that I don’t I do hope that I will see it differently because it is a great book.

Tone deaf by Olivia Rivers

I have to say I finished this book a few days ago and I still thinking about it. It’s absolutely amazing.
17 year old Ali lost her hearing when she was 7 due to a brain tumor. It took away so much of of her life she was going to be a child prodigy. After she had lost her mom she had to back and live with her dad and he’s not the greatest he’s pretty abusive towards Ali . One night her best-friend decided to take her to a Tone Deaf concert and she happened to be a winner in the raffle to go back stage and meet the band.
When Ali first meets Jase he’s a complete and udder asshole to the point you want to reach into the book and punch him. Through out the book you can see him evolve into this loving and caring guy it was nice to see that we wasn’t always a asshat.
When Ali opens up to Jase about what as happened to her it was such an important part of the story and it was done In such an honest way that I noticed not many authors do. They in a way sugar coat it and I don’t think they should be because it’s happening more and more now a says and it needs to be said. Kids need to have a way to relate to someone even if in fiction.
The duel POV I feel is necessary because Ali and Jase have the similarities in there lives and it was nice to see both sides.
This story was an amazing journey of a road trip where the guy saves the girl in an unforgettable way. I will always remember this book.
“Serva me, servo te” an amazing quote to live by.

Rae of Hope By W.J May

This book reminds me off Hex hall by Rachel Hawkins.-

This book was totally mind blowing with all the things that Rae had to endure because she’s a strong and independent person. Rae gets a letter to go to Gliger which is a boarding school in England. She knows that she didn’t mail the letter so it might have been her aunt or uncle whom she had been living with since she was young when her parents passed away in a accident.

While Rae is away at school she meets a girl named Molly. She is just hilarious and talks forever she’s the perfect match for Rae.

Now least fast forward just a little , the whole school knows about Rae and her family and her family’s secrets but now Rae has to find out what they are.
