Summary:

My name is Melody Greene, and I have a confession to make.
I slept with my student, a senior in high school.
Multiple times.
I had multiple orgasms.
In multiple positions.
I slept with my student and I enjoyed it.
I slept with my student and I’d do it all over again if I could turn back time.
My name is Melody Greene, and I got kicked out of my position as a teacher and did my walk of shame a la Cersei Lannister from the principal’s office, minutes after said principal threatened to call the cops on me.
My name is Melody Greene, and I did something bad because it made me feel good.
Here is why it was totally worth it

My thoughts:

I didn’t read this book first but If I had OMG this is an epic novella. You get sucked into the book from the first chapter. I read this book in a day and I absolutely loved every minute of it. L.J Shen has this god given gift that lets her write amazing alpha males. I can’t wait to see what else she writes. I do know that am going to have to read all her work now.

Melody is a teacher at a high school, her students are always misbehaving and not paying attention to her in class when she is teaching. It also doesn’t help that the principle is a complete bitch.

Jamie who happens to be the principal’s son. He’s part of the FHH an also an asshole but he’s an asshole that you defiantly fall in love with in just a few short pages. Jamie says what he thinks and doesn’t hold back. He’s also impatient which makes some of the scenes that they have pretty intense.

Reading this book at the start it may seem little wrong because it ha to do with a teacher and a student but by the end of the story your hungry for more.

Rating: 5/5

Summary:

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

My Thoughts:

Omg!! We get to see Travis’s pov! Ahhh I was so excited to read this. Travis is amazing, you can’t help but fall in love with him more after reading this. If you didn’t really love him in the first one, then you will in this one. It was amazing to his POV.

Its been years since I have read this book and I have found many other book boyfriends but still no one compares to Travis. I’m not sure but there just missing something that he has.

I loved that this book starts at the beginning with the prologue of Travis at the age of 3. The things that happen really make him who he is as an adult. I cried its completely heart wrenching.

While reading this I loved to be able to be in his head an know what he was thinking when he was with Abby. She was just so different then all the other girls that he at met. I think that’s why he agreed to the bet.

I was smiling, laughing and crying while reading this. I don’t think that I would have it any other way.

Genre: Dystopia

Rating:4/5

Summary:

One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris’s initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

My Thoughts:

This being the second in the Divergent series I was full of action, A blossoming romance with Tris and Four (he’s hot) I don’t think that the movie did him justice. I found my self screaming in my head that four should just kiss Tris. There was a lot of sexual tension between the two.

Tris has grown since the last book, she has become more mature. You can feel all the emotion that Tris feels. Its sad because she doesn’t realize what a bad ass she is. Even with the hand that she has been dealt with she is still able to persevere and stand on top.

I don’t want to give away too much other than you should get on it an read this book. You can watch the movie if you like. I think that you should read it before watching it

Captured by Jasinda Wilder

This is one absolutely beautifully written heartbreaking story I have read. It’s one of my favourite books. You get wrapped up in the characters and you feel what they feel. The emotions are so raw an real.

The story starts with Reagan writing letters to her husband and wanting him to come home since he is in the military. He sadly doesn’t come home. Just as your getting into Reagan’s story you go into Derek’s and a promise he made so he decides to visit Texas. Reagan and Derek are dealing with grief in their own ways but they come together and help one another in such a beautiful way.

This was such a beautiful story I absolutely loved it.

Leave the lights on by Karen Stivali

Parkers is away at collage and wants to become a pro Baseball player. One nice when he was driving he gets into a car accident and that changes his life for ever.

Parker moves back to his old house after his dad passes away and takes over the family landscaping business.

Sophie went to school with Parker and she has lived Parker from the moment they met. After Sophie’s parents move to Florida she moves back to her old house. She has a job as a wedding planner.

When Sophie noticed that Parker was coming back home she baked him a cake. The same one that her mom used to bake when they were kids.

Since she lives right next to him she walks over an gives him the cake and that’s where there story begins.

It’s a cute and loveable story and you can’t help but love Parker he’s just cute and funny.

My favourite quote is ” That I’m so in love with you I can barely see straight, that spending time with you is the best part of my day, everyday, and the days that are spend with you are the happiest I’ve been in as long as I can remember I love you Sophie. – Parker.

P.s You’ll be looking at peanut butter in a whole new light. It’s pretty awesome.
