Summary:

In each other they found a connection stronger than they could have imagined, but one night of devastation alters everyone they love.

Sometimes we have to walk away. Sometimes we have to trust, and occasionally our biggest regrets carry us back for redemption.

My Thoughts:

Oh my gosh. These ladies have done it again. This book is amazing. There is so much that I want to say but at the same time I don’t want to because I think you need to read it yourself to experience it. Lost in C Minor

This book is filled with so much emotion and heartache. The cliff hanger that happens in the last one I was dying to know what was going to happen and this one. I’m glad that it wasn’t what I thought.

There is an incident that happens that tears Ridley and Reagan apart, there was times where I thought they wouldn’t be getting back together. I’m so happy they did I think that the time that they had apart was needed. Some may disagree with me and that’s okay. Rid an Rea are a great for one another and even better because of the things that happened. I loved the flash backs they had. It added more emotion to the story and I don’t think their story could have been told with out it. It also made there story more heart wrenching and I loved it.

Rid makes it his mission to prove to Rea they are meant to be together. I love the way they he did it.

I’m sad this is the end for Rea and Rid, but I know with the other books in the series we will see them again. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

I don’t think there’s anything I can say with out spoiling anything for you. So, you need to go an check out this series.

Summary:

In December of 1994, when she was a junior in high school, Emi Hennigan discovered her father’s infidelity. Forced to transfer schools mid-year, she wasn’t trying to make new friends. In that same month, sophomore Nate Wilson’s girlfriend broke up with him. Searching for someone to fill the void left by his first love, he meets Emi in his art class.

Nate knows he wants Emi from the moment he sees her. Emi knows she needs Nate after one night together. A life-long friendship is born, and a pact is made to ensure that nothing will come between them.

This novella is the prequel to the Emi Lost & Found series. After the 3-volume series was published, readers wanted more. This is for them – the story of how Nate and Emi met – and although it’s a prequel, it can be enjoyed before or after the series.

My Thoughts:

I read this book ages ago, so my review may be a little off on the things that have happened in the book. I did read this series a few times so hopefully that helps me in my review.

Emi and Nate meet when there both in high school. There is a reason as to why but I’m unsure, I think it was because Emi’s father was cheating. Emi and her family pack up and move in doing so Emi has to go to a new school and that’s where she meets Nate.

Emi and Nate are complete opposite, but I think that makes them more perfect for one another. They blend well together. I loved how their relationship felt real, like you were in the book with them.

I loved Nate as a character he was such a romantic at heart. He is also an artist an I love books that have artiest in them, to me at adds an extra something to the story.

Rett and Bryn hide in a cold, dark room. Safe from what’s outside.

But they’re not alone.

My Thoughts:

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I also don’t really read many Sci-Fi books so maybe that’s why I didn’t really get into this till half way. I was disappointed that it happened that way. I think that people that enjoy this type of genre will have a better time reading it.

I did request this from Netgalley because the synopsis of this sounded good. I thought that it was going to be a great read. I’m still going to give this a 3 star rating because of how much I liked the second half.

Summary:

Mellie has always been the reliable friend, the good student, the doting daughter. But when an unspeakable act leads her to withdraw from everyone she loves, she is faced with a life-altering choice―a choice she must face alone.

Lise stands up―and speaks out―for what she believes in. And when she notices Mellie acting strangely, she gets caught up in trying to save her…all while trying to protect her own secret. One that might be the key to helping Mellie.

Told through Mellie and Lise’s journal entries, this powerful, emotional novel chronicles Mellie’s struggle to decide what is right for her and the unbreakable bond formed by the two girls on their journey.

My Thoughts:

So, before I get into my review for this book I just want to say that there are some trigger warnings. There is talk about rape, abortion, bullying and verbal abuse.

When I read the description of the book I was really interested in to see where it was going to go. I have to say after reading the book, I was shocked. I really enjoyed this book. It is told in duel POV’s

Sixteen-year-old Mellie comes from a very conservative family. So, you can image what happened when she found out that she was pregnant. Mellie isn’t sure what she wants to do. She has always believed that having an abortion was wrong, but she knew she didn’t want to give the baby up to someone else.

Lise is Mellie’s friend, when she finds out that her friend pregnant she tries to help her out.

This book was told in a journal entry in Lise and Mellie’s English class. I thought that was an interesting to the story. I was a tad confused at first because I thought it was all from Mellie not just her and Lise.

I given this book as an Arc from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:

Tonight, I’ll be her fantasy man…

I have a thing for my next-door neighbor’s sexy best friend. I like to picture all the things I’ll do to her, imagine the noises she’ll make as I own her gorgeous body in a hundred different ways, hear her screaming my name…

Okay, maybe it’s more than a thing.

Ryssa’s a knockout, sure, but she’s smart, and kind, and funny, and sweetly naïve, too. She triggers all of my protective instincts, but I won’t let myself have her. I may be one of NYPD’s finest, but in my mind, I’ll always be that worthless, troublemaking kid from Hell’s Kitchen.

She deserves better.

Which is why, when I find out her best friend’s setting her up with a night of anonymous, blindfolded sex, I lose my everloving mind.

If anyone is checking off every item on Ryssa’s secret fantasy list, it’s going to be me.

And with her firm “no talking” rule, I’m going to have to get real creative once I decide to make this beautiful girl mine…

My Thoughts:
This being the 3rd book in the series. It just keeps getting more and more steamy. This book has a twist added to it. The main girl Ryssa works as a lab assistant and has a list of things that she wants to experience sexually but she doesn’t know who she wants to do it with. She’s shy and doesn’t want to do it with anyone that she may have a chance of running into while she’s out.  So, her friend takes it upon her self to find the perfect guy for her. In doing so she askes her hot cop friend Zach. Who Ryssa happens to have a crush on and happens to be her best friends neighbour. Ryssa doesn’t know who it is because she is blindfolded the whole time. Part of her rules are no talking, no mouth kissing.

I thought it was cute how Ryssa’s friend tricked Zach into agreeing. It worked out perfectly.

I also loved that at the end of the book we get to see the list that Zach made. I thought it was cute.

This book is filled with steamy, very steamy sex, it was passionate and sensual at the same time. So, if your looking for a short quick steamy read then this is the book for you. Or shall I say series.
