Summary:

Irresistible attraction. Unimaginable danger.

I knew from the moment Noah Williamson walked into the diner that he was haunted—deeply haunted—but I couldn’t resist the lure of him. He was gorgeous and fascinating and mysterious, and like a delicate moth to a brilliant blue flame, I was drawn to him. Drawn to his fire.

But if I’d known about his job, about what happened to his wife, I’d have run the other way. Before I got caught up in the red-hot blaze of his life. Before everything in my world got burned to the ground.

It’s too late to run now. I hesitated and that was it. I fell. I fell for him before I knew there was danger in loving him.

Noah once told me that this is the way we burn—together or not at all. At the time, I didn’t know what that meant.

My Thoughts:
This is also the first book that I have read by Michelle and it’s amazing. I haven’t read many suspense books but this one right here is something amazing. It was completely unexpected. Just when I thought I had an idea to what was coming I was tossed another curve ball. This is definitely a page turner. I was so engrossed with this story that I read it in one sitting. I just couldn’t get enough.

This story is told as a duel POV.

Noah works for the FBI he has a horrific past. He lost his wife and daughter in a span of a few months. He goes to the same diner every day and one day he noticed Poppy who brought some light into his life after so much tragedy.

Poppy works at a diner where she sees Noah every day at 7. He orders the same thing every time a plate of fries with a glass of tap water no lemon. The other girls that Poppy work with thing he’s a gorgeous man like he’s Cat nip and it makes all the woman crazy. There are many different sides to Poppy and that made the story for me truly interesting.

I don’t want to say to much much because I don’t want to give away any of the juicy details that this book has.

One of my favourite quotes:
When we jump, we risk falling. but we also risk flying. – Poppy

Summary:

At just eighteen years old, Oliver was offered a publishing deal. The very same day, he lost his mother to suicide. Two years later, he encounters a tall, dark, and handsome stranger. Never thinking he would write again, he is inspired once more.

Just as Oliver is launched into fame from the success of his book, the handsome stranger comes back into his life. His name is Blue and happens to be flirting with Oliver

My Thoughts:
This was a sweet and loveable story. It’s a quick and easy read.

Oliver’s mother dies and that’s when he finds out that he has a half sister named Liv( crazy right ) he then later meets Blue. Who happens to be volunteering at the book store that Oliver works at.

This was a wonderful story that deals with love, loss and over coming grief. I do wish that the story was longer so that we could get more into the lives of Oliver and Blue.

I was given this as an Arc from the author/ publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:

Nikki Elliot is running out of time. After a season and a half of struggling to rebuild her racing career thanks to a near-fatal accident, she is faced with the ugly truth: it’s going to take a miracle for her to make her lifelong dream of racing in Formula 1 a reality. The trouble is, Nikki doesn’t believe in miracles. When Fate sends her help in the form of a quiet, sexy mechanic, Nikki realizes that miracles do happen: the ones you hope for and the ones you least expect. But just as things look like they’re falling into place, Nikki discovers that miracles come at a steep price.
Luck has never been on Jake Masercotti’s side. That is until a chance encounter reunites him with his angel—the woman who unknowingly saved his life years earlier. And now that he’s found her, he’ll do whatever it takes to repay her for that gift, even it means risking his life–or worse, his heart–in the process.
Brought together by tragedy years before, and reunited under dangerous circumstances, will Jake and Nikki find love and happiness, even when a danger they never see coming reaches the-redline?

My Thoughts:
When I first saw this book cover I absolutely loved it because it reminded me of Lucas from Tammara Webber’s book Easy. So I knew I had to instantly read this to see if the guy was going to be anything like Lucas. He was an I loved it.

This book follows a guy named Jake and he has had a rough life with his mom committing suicide at the age of 12. He has a younger brother named Dario whom he doesn’t have custody of because of some of the choices that Jake as made. Every Sunday he would go an visit his moms grave. Which just breaks my heart. He works for an auto mechanic even though his true passion is taking photos.

Nikki is a race car driver an I loved that she was because it’s usually the men that are. So I loved the role reversal. She has a fatal accident an since then she is trying to rebuild her career because her family doesn’t want to support her, even though racing is something she has always dreamed of.

I loved that there was a mafia aspect to this story. I have read one other series that did an I loved the extra something that it adds to the story.

Summary:

Nineteen-year-old Cromwell Dean is the rising star of electronic dance music. Thousands of people adore him. But no one knows him. No one sees the color of his heart.

Until the girl in the purple dress. She sees through the walls he has built to the empty darkness within.

When Cromwell leaves behind the gray skies of England to study music in the South Carolina heat, the last thing he expects is to see her again. And he certainly doesn’t expect that she’ll stay in his head like a song on repeat.

Bonnie Farraday lives for music. She lets every note into her heart, and she doesn’t understand how someone as talented as Cromwell can avoid doing the same. He’s hiding from his past, and she knows it. She tries to stay away from him, but something keeps calling her back.

Bonnie is the burst of color in Cromwell’s darkness. He’s the beat that makes her heart skip.

But when a shadow falls over Bonnie, it’s up to Cromwell to be her light, in the only way he knows how. He must help her find the lost song in her fragile heart. He must keep her strong with a symphony only he can compose.

A symphony of hope.
A symphony of love.
A symphony of them.

My Thoughts:

This story was truly heart wrenching and gripping at the same time. I damn well knew that I was going to have my heart ripped out, but I still went on to read it anyway. Reading that you may be thinking that I regret reading it? In all honesty no I don’t, I’m glad that I did pick it up an I got to read a beautiful love story like Cromwell and Bonnie.

The cover for this book I think is poetic justice in its own. It completely represents the story in an exquisite way.

Cromwell Dean is a 19-year-old rising star DJ. He is beyond talented, he has his issues with music and his own personal demons. He goes to collage in the states and there is where he meets his other half.

Bonnie has a twin named Easton and they both attend the same collage that Cromwell is attending, he also happens to be Easton’s roommate.

When Bonnie and Cromwell first meet in England on a beach, it wasn’t the greatest but after the conversation they had it stirred something in him. They then go their separate ways not thinking that they would see one another again until collage that is. They had a few classes together and in one of there classes she is pired up with him for a school project. At first there both at one another’s heads until one night when she seems him playing the piano. That’s the moment everything changed for them.

This book was clearly one that had me in so many emotions that I don’t even think that I’m able to put them into words for my review. I just finished this book and I really don’t know what to say.

What I do know is that Tillie always has a way with words that make me interested in the books that she puts out. When I first heard about this book I knew it was one that I wanted to read, even though I knew it was going to make me cry like a baby. I didn’t let that stop me. I wanted to be able to distance my self from the book because I didn’t want to cry but that didn’t happen at all either. After chapter 20 I was reading through tears. Every time I picked the book up to read just more tears came.

Tille Cole is an exceptional author to be able to have so many emotions happen while reading. This is defiantly a unique story in its own. I think that’s why it made it even more special. It will also have a special place in my heart.

I am positive that my review is all over the place because I just finished this an I wanted to get my thoughts out about it. Even though it is jumbled I still hope you all enjoyed it.

Summary:

Jameson
I let her slip through my fingers…
No, that’s a lie. I was reckless and pushed her away.
I was never supposed to fall for her. She was my tutor. My best friend. My fantasy. I tried to stay away. I failed.
Then we graduated and everything changed. All I needed was a step back. A moment to breathe… And by the time I came up for air, she was in the arms of another man.
Four years later, everything is different. And when I see her again, I remember why I should have never let her go in the first place.

Lyric
It started on day one…
New school. New life. And there he was, the boy I grew up with, walking up the steps of my very first class. Except now, the boy from my memories was gone, and his place was an Adonis of a man.
It didn’t take much for me to fall for him. Even though I knew we were doomed from the start. But when you find something that perfect, you don’t second guess it.
Until it ends.
Four years later, he’s back. Steamrolling through my life like he never broke my heart to begin with. Only this time, I’m older, wiser and know that second chances are the stuff of fairytales.

My Thoughts:

I absolutely adored this book. I didn’t want to finish it. I wanted to stay in the world of Jameson and Lyric.

They grew up together, they met in their kindergarten class. This happen, and they went their different ways and meet up again in collage. There relationship begins when they are in the same class and Jameson askes her to help him study. When he didn’t need the help he just wanted to spend time with her. As time goes on their feeling begin to deepen and they try to deny it. At Christmas break there stuck at Jameson’s place because there is a big storm coming, that’s when their relationship starts to develop into something that I can only explain as wonderful. There relationship does have its ups and downs because they end up spending months apart due to there jobs. I loved how realistic it was.

4 years pass, and Jameson has a ton of regret, Lyric had shed a lot of tears. The big question is can Jameson prove to Lyric that he made a mistake? Can Lyric forgive him? You’ll have to read it and find out.

This is my first book that I have read by Saman and I don’t think that it will be my last. She made these characters feel real and they had there flaws just like everybody.
