Summary:

In Legacy of Lies, Megan has to stay with the uptight grandmother she wants nothing to do with. She’s determined to get through the visit without any drama, but when she falls into a twisted love triangle with potentially fatal consequences, Megan may be caught up in her family’s legacy in more ways than she realizes.

In Don’t Tell, Lauren knows that by returning to the town where her mother drowned seven years ago, she’ll be reliving one of her most haunting memories. When she arrives, she is propelled into a series of mysterious events that mimic the days leading up to her mother’s death. Maybe her mother’s drowning wasn’t an accident after all…and maybe Lauren is next.

My Thoughts:

So, I have to say reading these books wasn’t easy because of how big they were lol. They were just awkward to hold but getting past that. These 2 books were such a page turner I kept thinking that I had it figured out but then I get to where I thought I was right an I was completely wrong lol.

Legacy of lies

Is about a girl named Megan who must stay with her grandmother for 2 weeks and isn’t happy about it. The way the story unfolds is captivating.

Don’t tell

Is a girl named Lauren who went back to Wisteria for her summer vacation after her mother dies? It also turns out to be a summer that Lauren will never forget.

Summary:

For Della Tsang, Shadow Falls isn’t just a camp: it’s home. As a vampire who’s never fit in with her human family, it’s the one place she can truly be herself.

But when a mysterious new guy arrives at camp, Della’s whole world is thrown into turmoil. Chase is a vampire with secrets, who knows more than he’s telling. But the more time she spends with him, the more she begins to trust this attractive stranger—and feel drawn to him. But romance is the last thing she wants—as she keeps telling Steve, the hunky shapeshifter who won’t stop trying to win her heart. And if Della isn’t careful, he just might succeed.

When a new case puts everyone, she cares about in danger, Della’s determined to do everything she can to save them . . . even if it means teaming up with Steve and Chase, who leave her more confused than ever.

With their lives on the line, will Della and her friends survive—with their hearts intact.

My thoughts:

I absolutely loved Della in the Shadow Falls series she’s strong, stubborn and a badass lead. I knew that her book was coming out, but I completely forgot about it up until a few months ago when I read it an wrote my review for it. (shame on me I know)

Della and her roommates Kylie and Miranda from Shadow Falls, I loved that they appeared in this book also. Della really wants to become a paranormal investigator, so she is trying to prove that she is more that capable to become part of the FRU.

There’s a love triangle in this one (loves it). Steve is a guy that kisses Della and his kisses just turn you into a puddle. Then there’s Chase he’s a new vamp that has come to the camp and Della is very suspicious of him and for good reason.

I loved just getting a book that was so full of Della and her journey. I kept thinking reading the Shadow Falls series that Della needed her own series because she is a character on her own. Her POV was amazing.

I also loved how this series was about Della and her family, her relatives and het friends back at Shadow Falls and how the girls would gather around the table and have a diet coke and talk about there feelings or other things that were going on.

Summary:

Kylie Galen’s life hasn’t been the same since her world was turned upside-down in Born at Midnight, Shadow Falls , and now an epic conclusion to her journey—not to mention a tough choice between two guys! —is brewing in Chosen at Nightfall:

When Kylie Galen left Shadow Falls, she thought it was the hardest decision of her life. Heartbroken and separated from everyone she loves, she must embrace her abilities and what it means to be a chameleon. But as Kylie’s journey ends, she must return to the camp that started it all… and she must finally choose between the two boys who love her. The werewolf who broke her heart when he chose his pack over her, and the half-fae who ran from their intense attraction before they ever really had a chance. For Kylie, everything will finally be revealed, and nothing will ever be the same

My thoughts:

This was a perfect ending to an amazing series. I felt kind of sad to say goodbye Kylie, Della and Miranda, they had such a great friendship. It was annoying at times where you wanted to toss the book and never pick it up again. It’s a book that will make you laugh and cry.

As for the love triangle, I loved the dynamic that it added to the series. I did get annoyed with it a few times because it was very teenage esk. I guess that’s what I get for reading a teenage book lol the drama was defiantly there.

With the guy that Kylie picks in the end… am I disappointed? I am a little. Kylie felt like she was doing the right thing, so she went with him instead of the other guy. I was going to say who, but I don’t want to wreck it for you.

The breathtaking fourth installment of the New York Times bestselling Shadow Falls series from author C. C. Hunter…Whispers at Moonrise.

My thoughts:

In this book Kylie finds out what supernatural she is, but it doesn’t really help her in any way because she’s one of a kind there’s not many that are like her.

In this book kylie gets to meet her paternal grandfather and he will tell her about her ability. On the road to discovery she has these new powers that appear at random times.

This book is full of drama, and everything in between, You got to see more of Holiday in this book, she tries to help Kylie understand her powers.

With this being the 4th book I the series I know that the last one is going to be something special.
