My Thoughts:
I had thought that the first one was kind of okay, it was lacking a lot. I had bought the box set since there were so many people were raving about it. So, I thought okay why not read the next one, it can’t be that bad right?
I loved Christian in this book. Do I wish that he was with someone else other than Ana of course, I found her just as annoying in this one as I did the first one. I thought that Christian could have done so much better then Ana. I’m not sure why she got on my nerves so much, but she did. I have read books with similar female leads and I didn’t get as annoyed with them as I did Ana (am I the only one?)
I loved the beginning of this one because we got to see a little back story with Christian, but it was only the prologue, so I was kind of bummed. Just as the prologue ends we get bounced back into Ana’s head an I sighed because I thought that we were going to get into more of Christians head but alas we did not.
In this one I felt like Ana did a lot of whining an Christian just fucks her to keep her quiet. Also, the part that got me was when Ana gotten her ass smacked and she knew what the safe word was so that she could stop him, but she doesn’t. She just lets him continue and she gets pissed off at him. If you didn’t want him to continue you could have easily stopped him. He didn’t even want to do the smacking to begin with. That part of the book made me so mad.
With the sex in this one I just found it to be eh. I think it could have been better it may have been the way it was worded but I didn’t like it.
I’m not sure what else to say about this book so I shall leave you with this “Later’s baby” < one of my favourite quotes.
