Summary:

A fatal collision — who’s to blame? Two bodies, two souls switch in search of justice.

When fifteen-year-old Hallie gets knocked flying by a Hurricane SUV, her life ends without her ever having kissed a boy. At an otherworldly carnival, she meets and argues with the eighty-two-year-old driver, Susan. Both return to life, only with one catch — they’ve swapped bodies.

Now Hallie has wrinkled skin and achy joints while Susan deals with a forehead zit and a crush on a guy who’s a player. Hallie faces a life in a long-term care residence. Susan gets picked up for shoplifting.

As they struggle with technology, medications, and each other’s fashion foibles, they start to understand and maybe even like each other. But can they work together to prove that a defect in the Hurricane caused the deadly crash? Or will their time run out

My Thoughts:

I had requested this book because the idea of a book that was like Freaky Friday sounded really interesting to me. This was a really quick cute read.

82yr old Susan and 15-year-old Hallie they ended up in a car accident.
Hallie is your typical teenager where Susan is an elderly woman who’s dealing with her own life.

I love that the author made this such an interesting read. Having 2 people swap bodies with such an age gap now knowing they have a better understanding of one another.

I did feel like the book was a bit rushed in bits but all around I enjoyed the book.

Together they must unlock the truth of his situation, and with time running out, their bond becomes Martin’s best shot at waking back up to the life he’s left behind

My Thoughts:

This is a debut novel for Bridget and I think she did a fantastic job.
This book follows Martin and Petra who meet at there high school grad for the first time because they end up sitting together. There happens to be a tragedy that happens on graduation that pulls them closer together. I did end up reading this book in one sitting. This story has everything every emotion imaginable. An by the end your heart is put back together aside from the emotional ride you go on to get there.
Petra is smart and caring person. Martin is the funny guy he’s always trying to make Petra laugh.
I really loved the Back to The Future references. It’s one of my favourite movies.

Author: E.L James

Page count: 597

Published: April 2012

Genre: Romance, Erotica

Rating: 2.5/5

Summary:

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees.

Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past.

Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

My Thoughts:

Was I happy when the series ended yes because I just found Ana to be extremely annoying throughout the whole series. Until the last little bit of this book I found her to be less annoying. Maybe even tolerable at some points.

They are now married an have traveled to amazing places.

I did want to give up on this series but like I have said before I had the box set and thought why not it couldn’t get much worse right?

After reading this entire series I have to say that in imo it would have been better as just a standalone. Having the other 2 were just unnecessary.

For all of you that plan to read this, go into it with an open mind and maybe just then you will enjoy it.

This is one absolutely beautifully written heartbreaking story I have read. It’s one of my favourite books. You get wrapped up in the characters and you feel what they feel. The emotions are so raw an real.

The story starts with Reagan writing letters to her husband and wanting him to come home since he is in the military. He sadly doesn’t come home. Just as your getting into Reagan’s story you go into Derek’s and a promise he made so he decides to visit Texas. Reagan and Derek are dealing with grief in their own ways but they come together and help one another in such a beautiful way.

This was such a beautiful story I absolutely loved it.

Leave the lights on by Karen Stivali

Parker moves back to his old house after his dad passes away and takes over the family landscaping business.

Sophie went to school with Parker and she has lived Parker from the moment they met. After Sophie’s parents move to Florida she moves back to her old house. She has a job as a wedding planner.

When Sophie noticed that Parker was coming back home she baked him a cake. The same one that her mom used to bake when they were kids.

Since she lives right next to him she walks over an gives him the cake and that’s where there story begins.

It’s a cute and loveable story and you can’t help but love Parker he’s just cute and funny.

My favourite quote is ” That I’m so in love with you I can barely see straight, that spending time with you is the best part of my day, everyday, and the days that are spend with you are the happiest I’ve been in as long as I can remember I love you Sophie. – Parker.

P.s You’ll be looking at peanut butter in a whole new light. It’s pretty awesome.
