All her life, Della’s secret powers have made her feel separated from her human family. Now, she’s where she belongs, at Shadow Falls. With the help of her best friends Kylie and Miranda, she’ll try to prove herself in the paranormal world as an investigator—all the while trying to figure out her own heart. Should she chose Chase, a powerful vampire with whom she shares a special bond? Or Steve, the hot shapeshifter whose kisses make her weak in the knees? When a person with dark connection to her past shows up, it’ll help her decide which guy to choose–and make her question everything she knows about herself.

I got this book from my local library app. It took me way longer to read it than I thought it would, and I didn’t even finish the book. I got to about 80% before it was sent back. I did request to get it again because I want to finish it.

For the portion that I did read, I’m a little iffy on it. I feel like it was a little repetitive at some points.

The bad boys and girls of Winterland are back for the final battle, and this fight isn’t just between naughty and nice, but life and death.

Dinah Liddell grew up plagued by nightmares of monsters and strange creatures only to discover they are all real. Winterland exists. Now, she’s being forced to return the Blood-Red Queen to her throne.
This time there’s nothing Jessica Winters won’t do to destroy Winterland, warping the lines of reality for Dinah and robbing her of her sanity.
With her sister, Alice, and the gang, Dinah has to fight against an opponent she never saw coming—her own mind. Rediscovering the brazen girl she once was, full of fire and passion, she will break every rule to save those she loves.
But as usual in this mad, mad place, nothing is what it seems, and those she trusted will betray her.
In freeing one beast, Dinah sacrifices another. A monster who will be used to help bring down Winterland once and for all.
The whole Winterland gang is in a fight for their lives, and as the war between naughty and nice bleeds the ground red, they find there is more to Jessica’s plan than to take Winterland.
When a beauty breaks, the beast will fall, and down will go Winterland…Santa and all.

Alice in Wonderland meets Beauty and the Beast with a holiday twist! Don’t miss this final installation in this mad, twisted series. You poke the monster…you get the beast.

HOLY TINSEL! Son of a nutcracker this book was so much muchness.

I am sad to see the series end it’s going to be on my re read tbr for sure. Going to read it just in time for Christmas.

I love this world that Stacey was able to create with Alice in Wonderland but with the twist of Christmas and a dark and steamy twist

Warlord Tane of Atlan is a warrior, not a prince.

So why is he wearing these ridiculous white pants and gold-trimmed jacket?

And gods help him, why are there hundreds of females in glittering gowns, circling like vultures, expecting him to dance?

The human producers of the Bachelor Beast television show thought this would be a good idea; dress up an unmated Warlord like a fairytale prince, invite hundreds of eligible human women to a ‘Cinderella Ball’, turn on their cameras and record everything.

And then he sees her. His mate. The only female who can tame his beast.

But…

This princess wasn’t supposed to be at the ball. A borrowed ball gown. A stolen invitation. A friend in trouble. Everything is going according to plan…until she can no longer resist temptation.

Surely once dance won’t hurt?

Even a dance with a beast.

Elena doesn’t want to have to attend the ball but it’s her job so she has to take it. The best thing about this was the moment they locked eyes on Tane the story took off, I devoured it in a couple of hours.
Any book that has a Disney theme, I want to read because I’m a huge Disnerd and I love reading different people’s perspectives on it and how they portray the couple. Emily was able to write a wonderful story that made my Disney heart happy, I’m now going to have to go and get the last 4 books in the series and any in the future.

Sylvia is just a normal girl with huge, normal problems – her mother’s attempted suicide; how to adjust to life on the Upper East Side; trying to make friends in a rich prep school where she doesn’t belong; whether or not to trust the cute boy with the dangerous eyes. She thinks that’s more than she can handle, but she tests the limits of her endurance when she learns that she is the long awaited Phantasmer, a human who can change the fabric of Fairy simply by believing in a new story. Sylvia’s life is thrown off course as two warring Courts, the Seelie and Unseelie, both attempt to co-opt her gift to fight the other Court, which she has to deal with while trying not to get kicked out of school for fighting. And it doesn’t help matters that the fairies begging for her help are both attractive young men – with their own agendas.

For me this was a Dnf I just couldn’t get into it. I just felt such a disconnect with the characters. I Dnfed at 30%
