Sawyer Roarke was my best friend.

Growing up, our families were inseparable. We spent summers vacationing at the beach. In the school yard, it was us against the world. Then puberty hit, and we skated the thin line of staying buddies, or becoming more.

Until I accidentally found the pros and cons list he made about whether or not to date me. And there were definitely more bullet points on the no side. Acting out of rage and hurt, I embarrassed him in the most public way possible. Now, we’re enemies.

We’ve spent the last two years tearing each other to pieces. Everyone knows that Blair and Sawyer hate the ground the other walks on, and unfortunately, I got the unpopular end of the stick while he became Mr. Prom King.

Until senior year starts, and I’m tired of running scared. For the first time ever, I stand up to the golden boy with the whip-smart tongue. As the challenges and dares pick up speed, hearts start to fall and feelings get entangled. Despite my initial discovery, I wonder if being caught by each other wouldn’t be so bad.

Except Sawyer has no idea what I found all those years ago. And if the truth comes out about why I pitted us against each other, not only will he add one more con to his list … but he can add my broken heart as well.

This is a new author to me and when I read the synopsis, I know that I wanted to read it. I thought that this was a great childhood enemy to lover’s romance. the cool thing was that their parents are business partners. As they got older and grew closer, they started to get feelings for one another and all that comes to a halt when one night Blair finds something of Sawyer’s that wasn’t meant to be seen and it changes their relationship drastically.
Blair is the nerdy girl who has insecurities just like everyone else and when she finds this note that sawyer wrote she was upset and rightfully, so I understand why she was as mad as she was. Sawyer is the star of the soccer team; he got angry with Blair and did somethings that he’s not proud of, but he was just doing it out of hate even though I did get when he was coming from.
I loved reading the growth that these two had, people make mistakes and Carrie was able to make this a sweet high school romance.
(Goes and buys books from this author.)

You know the fantasy about the gorgeous soccer star who picks you from a crowded room and leaves you with an epic kiss? That’s my life, except I’m an awkward introvert and he’s my opposite in every way.

When my boss sends me in his place to a professional sports banquet, I stumble in late and find the only empty seat next to Donovan Taylor, the San Francisco Strikers’ resident hottie with the bad reputation. I promptly embarrass myself because I have no idea who he is.

Then he kisses me and asks me out.

Let’s be real–I program computers for a living and play mahjong for fun. I don’t hook up with gorgeous green-eyed players and stroke their egos or their abs–although it’s a hell of a good time–because I know it will never last and I’m practical to a fault.

But I’m gunning for a promotion at work, and Donovan just may be my key to getting it. All I need to do is convince him to do me a small favor–and avoid falling for him in the process.

Except that Donovan is nothing like the player I expected. As my feelings grow, I start finding it impossible to pretend I’m only in this for a promotion. Sure, he’s hiding secrets, but they won’t be enough to break us. Will they?

So what if his moves off the field are as impressive as his moves on it? All’s fair in love and sports, and I intend to win.

Playing for You is an opposites-attract sports romance and a standalone novel. It is part of the Berkeley Hills series

Tatum is a workaholic because she feels as she needs to be in the male dominant industry and when opportunity comes up, she knows that its just the job that she needs to get. Donavan has just recently moved to the US to become a soccer player and look for a new beginning.
Tatum and Donovan come together not knowing anything about one another and they connect beautifully after their hilarious first meet.

As if things aren’t already tough enough as the only girl on a college football team, Coach had to go and assign Zeke Collins as my roommate.

A cocky kick returner and my brother’s best friend who should have been ripped of that title years ago, he’s as infuriating as he is undeniably sexy.

I hate him, and for good reason — reason I won’t ever let him forget.

He thinks because we grew up together that it’s his role to protect me, but all he does is get in my way, make me look weak, and piss me off more.

I tell him I can handle myself, and I’m hell-bent on getting that point across to him and the rest of the nation watching the only girl in collegiate football.

The pressure doesn’t get to me. The scrutiny? I’m ready for.

But sharing very thin walls with Zeke Collins? I wasn’t prepared for that.

And the more we’re forced together, the harder it is to distinguish that pencil-thin line between hating him… and wanting him.

Enemies to lovers, college sport, brother best friend is always a win for me because they are all my favourite tropes. Riley and Zeke have known one another since they were kids but tragedy tears them apart, now being in college there now roommates. I just wanted to hug Zeke throughout the book he’s got such a huge weight on his shoulders. Riley coming into her own and doesn’t take shit from anyone and playing college football on a male team. They both end up being roommates, have emotional backstories and have a fiery connection with one emotional journey that got me to read this book in one sitting.

One Month with Vince Tanev: Tampa’s Hotshot Rookie
Twenty-four-seven access on and off the ice.

The headline says it all, and my bosses are over the moon when the opportunity of a lifetime lands in my lap. Of course, they aren’t aware that I’ve already met Vince Cool at an all-star gala — and that we were at each other’s throats the entire time.

It doesn’t matter that he’s the kind of hot that shows God has favorites — messy brown hair, heated hazel eyes, the smirk of a rockstar, and a scar over his eyebrow that makes every woman particularly feral.

He’s a rich, cocky playboy — a brand I’m all too familiar with, and one I’m determined to never be around again.

But after my coverage of the gala stirs up buzz, the team’s General Manager and my CEO strike a deal. To help fill the arena at home games, I’ll get up close and personal with Tampa’s new shiny toy. Whether he’s at practice, playing in a game, partying, or drinking coffee half-naked in his condo — I’ll be there for all of it.

Vince gets under my skin like no one else. It isn’t long before that paper-thin line between hate and lust blurs, and being around him every waking minute of the day leaves no chance to escape his devilish stare.

The air crackles between us. The tension is hot enough to melt my inhibitions.

But I know the way this story ends. I’ve lived it once before.

As much as I work to guard my heart, my body is a traitor — and if this man puts his hands on me, I know I’ll submit to desire.

I thought one month with Vince Tanev was a game I could win easily.
But I might have just met my match.

Maven and Vince seem different but they were more alike than they wanted to admit. The last thing that Maven wanted to do was date or fall in love with an athlete, she gets assigned to follow him for her blog so that she can get to know the real him. Vince is Tampa’s popular hockey rookie and thinks that Maven is the sassy and smartest person and is wanting to brake her walls down and prove that not all athletes were the same. a downfall for me was while reading it dragged a little bit but once I got into it I was able to read it pretty quickly.

Wren Beaumont is many things.

Beautiful.
Smart.
Sweet.
Innocent.

At Lancaster Prep, the girls love her. They all want to be her friend. Only I see Wren for who she really is.

A repressed little virgin who keeps her feelings locked up so tight she’s probably close to bursting. She thinks she’s above us all.

Even me.

I shouldn’t be drawn to her. She’s not my type.

Until we’re forced to work together in class and realize we might have more things in common than we originally thought. Soon enough I find myself completely obsessed. I will do anything for this girl to make her fall in love with me.

Anything.

Crew and Wren have a cute love story. Crew had been interested in Wren the moment that he saw her. Wren is like no other character that I have read, she’s the purest most caring and sweet person. These two have great chemistry. When Crew has the chance to be Wren’s partner on a school project he takes it. I loved watching him help Wren break out of her shell. Can Wren go without breaking the rules? Or will she end up breaking a couple?
