His hollow heart called to me.
Charred black from years of his own torture.
An urge to fill the empty spaces that I was responsible for when I left him.
He thought I deserved the same wrath he endured all those years ago.
I came when I was summoned.
Unaware that my past was waiting behind closed doors.
One look into those eyes that wore dark shades of fury, and I knew this was part of his plan.
With time, I started to see fragments of the boy I once knew.
Before long, he was a man holding the key to my heart.
Now that I’m ready to give him all of me, he’s gone and all that’s left is the broken pieces of my shattered heart.
Book Two of the Fallen Kingdom Duet. It is recommended to read Book One, His Hollow Heart, first.
I had been patiently waiting for this book because of how the previous book ended I mean WOW. What a conclusion that was this picks up right where the last one ended. This was an epic conclusion to a wonderful story, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time not knowing what was going to happen next. There were sweet, hot, suspenseful emotional moments Bella and Callum had amazing fiery chemistry. Callum comes out of his shell and shows that he has a softer side to him when it comes to Bella. This was an amazing duo that had me gnawing at the bit. I can’t wait to see what other books Rachel has in store.

From USA Today bestselling author, Laura Lee, comes the sexy and heart-wrenching new standalone story set in the Windsor Academy world.
They call me a player. A joker. The guy always down for a good time. But if they knew the secrets I’ve been keeping, they’d call me something else entirely. For the last two years, I’ve been buried in shame, numbing the pain with various vices. Drowning in self-hatred and concealing it with a smile. I had a system in place, a surety that no one would learn the truth. Then Sydney Carrington came waltzing back into my life. She’s the new headmaster’s daughter. The most beautiful girl I’ve ever met. The one person on Earth who can expose what I’ve worked so tirelessly to hide: That I’m the fucking villain in this story.
◆ BROKEN PLAYBOY is the fourth book in the Windsor Academy world and can be read as a standalone, as it focuses on a new couple. This book may contain triggers for sensitive readers. Due to mature subject matter, it is recommended for readers 17+ only.
I knew that this was going to be a tough read, but I didn’t think that it was going to be as emotional as it actually was. Bentley’s story was a brutal rollercoaster. I don’t think that there could be a truer title than this book. Bentley has his fair share of demons, but he has Sidney there to help him along the way she is his light on his darkest days. No matter how hard he tries to push her away she doesn’t budge and isn’t afraid to call him out when needed and isn’t afraid to push his buttons. The chemistry that’s between these two was off the charts. This is one of my top reads of 2021
Ty Greene promised me forever and like a fool—I believed him. But he skipped town with a bag of broken promises and a piece of my heart. It’s taken time, but I’ve put myself back together and moved on. Now Ty’s a big country music star in Nashville and I curse his name every time his song plays on the radio. I don’t have time to dwell on the past. I’m too busy living my best life. I have the job of my dreams, a dating app that never disappoints, and the best friends in the world. Hashtag thriving. Life is good. But now Ty is back in Willow Springs after all these years… Acting as if nothing has changed. His superstar status might impress everyone in town, but I’ve put him in my rearview. And that’s exactly where I intend to keep him.
Ivy and Ty have been the best of friends since kindergarten but didn’t start to date till high school. Ivy isn’t ready to see the guy that just up and left without saying a word 5 years ago, she wants nothing to do with him, that is until his sister’s wedding, she’s the wedding planner. Ty has come back to Willow Springs because of a few things his psychiatrist recommend that he go back to see his sister’s wedding and speak with Ivy and why he had left and what exactly happened on why he left. Ty and Ivy have a special connection that I adored, when they’re connected it was like no time had passed at all This is my favorite couple in the series.
Nobody in our class pays attention to the groundskeeper’s daughter and I think she likes it that way. Moving through the halls like a ghost, wandering across campus unnoticed. Am I the only one who actually sees her? Little Miss Daisy sitting in the front of the classroom, always the model student. Little Miss Daisy reading her romance books with the cute covers and hot content inside…
I’m considered the reckless Lancaster so when I get in trouble on the first day of school, my punishment is having to work in the headmaster’s office every day, stuck with Daisy. Staring at her pretty face, hearing her sweet voice, making her laugh.
The more I get to know her, the more obsessed I become. And I think she feels the same way.
The problem? She’s not part of my crowd. Daisy is the scholarship kid and no one approves of us together. Not my friends, not my parents and not her father. But I don’t care what anyone thinks. I’m going after what I want.
I’m going to make Little Miss Daisy mine.
Daisy and Arch are completely different people but that interestingly enough makes them work perfectly together and help one another through there trials and tribulations. Arch was a complete surprise to me I didn’t think that he was going to be such a softie.
