Wolf Wayburn is the devil in an Armani suit. Most women would drop to their knees at just the sight of him. Lucky for me—I’m not most women.

The first time we met, he cut me off at a gas station.
So, I flashed him the bird and mocked his family jewels.
The second time we met, he tried to get me fired.
He took his shot—and he missed.
At least for now.
Wolf Wayburn was an ex-Navy SEAL with an attitude.
But it would take a lot more than the big, bad Wolf to scare me off.
I had ninety days to win the man over.
To convince him that I was the right person for the job.
But spending endless amounts of time with him proved more challenging than I’d expected.
He was stubborn and broody and charming and sexy—all at the same time.
I despised him as much as I craved him.
We taunted and teased and terrorized one another for weeks.
The first time he dropped to his knees, it was to search me for a weapon.
The second time… it was an altogether different story.
I never planned to fall for the enemy.
Because I knew it was easier to hate Wolf Wayburn than to love him.

We have now come to the end of the series, it’s bittersweet, laugh out loud read. Dylan is the last of the sisters, she’s a blast I’m glad that she got her own book and true love after getting to meet her in the previous books. She gets the job of a lifetime of getting to work with the local NHL team. Wolf is a grumpy ex-seal that is going to be the new owner of the team and her new boss. They start off hating one another but they have an undeniable connection that they try to pretend isn’t there but working together it’s only time before one of them makes the first move. This book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions that I didn’t want to end. This book was my favourite in the series and one of my top reads of the year. This was a great way to end the year.

I never said I was engaged to Alex Stone (a.k.a., the richest man in Eureka)…
My douchey ex just assumed I was, and I didn’t correct him.

You see, I was having a moment.
I was out of work, out of money, and Alex had just offered me a lifeline by hiring me to be his live-in nanny for a month.

So when Drake the douche started going on about what a hot mess I am at my best friend’s wedding, I kind of let him believe we were a thing.
I never said the word fiancé, and I definitely never expected Alex to play along.

Alex Stone is one of those list-topping, billionaire businessmen-types.
He’s controlled, formal, and never makes a bad decision.
He’s also tall, dark, and brutally handsome, with smokey hazel eyes, wavy brown hair, and a bod that will melt your brain.
(A detail I happen to know after accidentally catching him just out of the shower naked.)

The plan is he’ll secretly be my fake fiancé for the night, no harm done.
But when the douche stays longer than the wedding, our “engagement” stops being a secret.
And when Alex decides there are things we should know how to do if we’re engaged, like making out and sleeping together, my lie really gets out of control.

Because it’s one thing to be fake-engaged to the hottest, richest man in town, who also happens to be your live-in boss.
It’s a little twist to find yourself falling in love with him.

Cass feels like she is stuck at a crossroads getting a job wanting to find her path. With the help of her friends gave her a nudge to the childcare route. She gets a job as a nanny for a man named Alex and takes care of his adorable daughter Pinky. Cass finds out that her ex is getting married so she pretends to be engaged to get back at her ex. While getting to know Alex and Cass you can see that they are able to break down the walls that they had up, watching them grow together and find their happiness after having a crush on one another since they were kids.

The Wilder brothers have retired from the military, and, as they’re forced to learn a new life, things get interesting, quickly, in this kickoff to a brand-new steamy contemporary-romance series – from New York Times best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan.

One dance at a stranger’s wedding. That’s all it took for me to fall for Alexis. And then? Disaster. Another man – her boyfriend – gets down on one knee, and proposes to her. I never thought I’d see her again.

Years later, I’m in desperate need of a wedding planner – not for myself, but for my company. My five brothers and I need to get our new Wilder Resort off the ground, and Alexis is the only one savvy enough to help us. But, there’s the little matter that I still have it bad for her. Alexis has changed since the night we met. She’s gun shy. But there’s a spark between us that will not die. We both fight it, until we don’t.

Until, history repeats itself. The same guy who took her away from me is back to do more damage. But this time, he’ll have to go through me to get her.

Eli and Alexis meet at a wedding and have an instant connection and dance the night away and then don’t see one another for another two years. Alexis is looking for a job after divorcing her husband. He had left her with nothing but the suitcase she had in her car. She can’t seem to have anything go right. Needing to look for a job she ends up at a Resort and Winery being there on site wedding planner was her dream job. Eli and Alexis take you on an unforgettable journey of healing one another and finding true love. This was a fantastic intro to the new series.

A slow burn, friends to lovers, military romance from USA Today bestselling author Prescott Lane

All the best love stories are tragic. Ours is no different.

Lennon is the woman who should have always been mine. The one that I let slip through my fingers time and time again. I was young, stupid, and arrogant enough to think love would wait.

Being in the Marines has taught me patience. The enemy never strikes when you expect it. Love is the same way.

And falling in love with your best friend requires a special type of patience.

So when tragedy strikes, the only thing I can do is be what I’ve always been to her — her best friend.

I’ve learned everything has a cost — even love. Lennon has paid dearly.

But I’m not about to let tragedy steal our happily ever after.

Within the first couple of chapters, I knew that I was going to be rung out through the emotional wringer and I was. Adding friends to lovers plus being a military slow burn read, give me all the books. I love these tropes. I knew that I was going to love it and be a sobbing mess read but HOLY was this on a different level. I loved every minute of this read. Lennon and Duke are the best of friends and have been through so much together and when they give in to their feelings you can feel the love for one of them just gets stronger and so much more.

Aiden Stone is a six-foot-two former Marine with a permanent scowl, dark hair, and dreamy blue eyes.

He’s the oldest of the Stone brothers, and his “by the book” family has battled mine for control of our small town for generations.

The last thing I should do is sleep with him. Or nearly run him down with my truck. Especially since he’s sort-of my new boss…

It doesn’t help that my grandmother (the mayor) is a former magician, and my mom is a psychic (sort-of)… And my dad died in a failed escape-artist attempt (that my mother is convinced was a murder).

Trust me, I know crazy, but I’m just plain ole Britt Bailey, Shania Twain-loving, non-magical forensic photographer. Yes, I take pictures of dead things, but I don’t see them in my bedroom at night.

I only want to see one thing in my bedroom at night, and when I’m called home to help Sheriff Stone on an investigation, he actually stops frowning for a minute, and my teenage fantasies get very real.

It’s a terrible idea. We work together, he’s seven years older than me, he’s a single dad, he hates all things magic, but a little taste, and we can’t say no.

Until the town crime wave turns personal, putting everything on the line, and we’ll need more than a magic bullet to get our happily ever after.

This is the start of a new small town series by Tia. Aiden is a single dad and the town’s sheriff, Britt has always been independent of her family with they not seeing eye to eye, she is now dedicated to her work as a forensic photographer. There is a string of vandalism in her home town so she heads back to see if she can help figure out what had happened. They end up working together on the same case and sparks start to fly, they have laugh out loud, kindle melting, heartbreaking moments with a splash of suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This was a beautiful addition to her new series.
