Rome Cromwell isn’t just football royalty in our town.

He’s a heartless monster out for revenge,

And I’m the ordinary girl with his target on her back.

One year ago my knight in shining armor stepped out of the fog and rescued me.

With a simple thank you and an “I owe you one”, I was on my way.

Little did I know, that was only the start of our deranged story.

Now our parents are married and we’re living under the same roof.

Rome presents himself as a masked villain with strikingly good looks and a hypnotic appeal.

Girls want him.

His friends want to be him.

But I only want to run from him.

I see beneath his cracked facade into the heart of the beast.

He blames me for the fight that left his football career in shambles.

And he hasn’t forgotten I’m in his debt.

Now his claws are digging in so deep, I fear I won’t survive.

Rome no longer wants to save me.

He only wants to own me.

To break me.

Piece by piece by piece.

Omg this book…. I was able to read it one sitting. Elodie is a bookworm introvert that’s also a badass and got the attitude to do go with it. Rome is the towns sports star and is out for revenge. Rome and Elodie tried to stay as enemies but the chemistry they have for one another is electric so there was only a matter of time before these two gave into their feelings for one another, the push and pull these two kept me glued to my kindle wanting to know what happens and it did not disappoint. This is one of my favourite books by Racheal. I’m excited to see what other books she will be coming out with this year.

Princess in a Tower

Captive in a Cage.

There is no Power.

Only Rage.

They promised me love and devotion,

And left me with shattered dreams.

They’re back expecting forgiveness.

But my price is very steep.

Betrayal is a risky business,

Now that I’m the Queen they wish to keep.

This was a fantastic book that kept me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen next. I have read a few books by Sienna and this was my favorite of hers by far. They way that Xander and Theo are devoted to show Nerine that they are the ones of her. She doesn’t know what she wants but getting to see the journey of that she does decide is an emotional roller coaster that I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did. The cliffhanger… was a great end to this but I can’t wait to see what happens because this book was fantastic.

She betrayed them and ran away. They want their revenge.

Delightful Sins is a dark enemies-to-lovers menage romance.

It’s the third standalone in the North Shore Stories and can be read on its own.

This just may be my favourite book by Lola. Ethan and Elliot are complete opposites brother Elliot is the charming and funny one and his brother Ethan is the quiet one who stays to himself. Jade is the balance the brothers need just as much as she needs them for this crazy enjoyable ride.

An all-new dark romance standalone by author Rachel Leigh with an obsessive anti-hero, and a heroine who fights as hard as she falls.

It should have been a harmless swindle.

A survival tactic, plain and simple.

Because I, Rhea Thorn, am a survivor.

At least, I thought I was…

Until I conned a psycho.

After a meaningless one night stand, I emptied his wallet and fled before the morning sun.

By that night, I had seventeen missed calls, and a broken window with a note:

You can keep what you stole, but I get you in return.

Everywhere I go, he’s there—blurring the vision between right and wrong, while enticing me with his sultry blue eyes.

Alaric promised me I’d never forget him.

And I’m beginning to fear he’s right.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, dark stalker romances can be a hit or miss for me, I must say that this particular book completely surpassed my initial thoughts and turned out to be a truly great read. The story unfolded in a way that kept me hooked from the very first page all the way to the last. The crazy plot twists and turns kept me guessing, and I found myself eagerly turning the pages to uncover what was next. The characters in this book were beautifully portrayed, with depth and complexity that made them feel real. I instantly connected with the protagonist and found myself empathizing with their struggles and emotions. The development of the romantic relationship between the main characters felt natural and believable, despite the unconventional situation they found themselves in. The dark and brooding atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for the romantic tension, intensifying the emotional connection between the characters. This was a great balance between the thrilling suspense and the tender sweet moments. I found myself completely engrossed, unable to put the book down. Overall, I have to say that this dark stalker romance exceeded my expectations in every way. It was an enjoyable, enthralling read that left me eagerly anticipating the author’s next work. If you’re looking for a book that seamlessly combines darkness and romance, I highly recommend giving this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.

A PUPPET
The men in the secret society known as the Lords think they rule the world. And in a way, they do. Each has sold their soul to the devil at a young age in exchange for power and wealth. Like anything else, they have different levels of success. The more they’re willing to serve, the more power they have.

Among them are the Spade brothers, who run Carnage. It’s where the Lords who have not held up their oath go to live out the rest of their lives in shackles. Tucked away from the world as if they never existed.

I VOW. YOU VOW. WE VOW.

I once belonged to a Lord—Saint Beckham Carter. Although nothing was holy about him, I still kneeled as if he could grant me eternity in a world where only evil existed.

At the time, I willingly vowed to be his and allowed him to share me with his “brothers.” But things changed. And what I thought couldn’t get any better got exceptionally worse. So I did the only thing I could and ran from him, knowing I could never return.

Now he’s found me and dragged me back to his hell, where he will make me his pet. The world already thinks I’m dead, so no one will miss me. And I’m just another name on a long list of those who will never know freedom.

What he doesn’t know is why I ran from him in the first place. A Lord doesn’t listen to reason, so it’s not like he’d care anyway. Saint was born a Lord, and he will die as one.

If life has taught me anything, it’s that we all pay for our sins. And Saint will never let me forget that my place is at Carnage, serving him on my knees until death is granted.

Ummmk, Not sure what that was but it was a DNF at 40%. I’m usually a fan of this author’s work but this time was a no.
