Sometimes second chances take a little time . . .

Susie Keane is mourning the death of her husband. They had a wonderful forty years of marriage, but now she’s unsure of what to do with her life.

Then the arrival of the annual Christmas card from the oh-so-perfect Bailey family gives Susie the push she so desperately needs. Next year, she’ll be the one with the exciting stories to gloat about.

Hello cooking courses, motorbike-riding lessons and pole-dancing classes. Goodbye moping about and feeling sorry for herself.

But then something happens that Susie isn’t prepared for. A school reunion.

And she definitely isn’t prepared to meet a man who does the impossible. Bob Diamond is the first person to put a smile on Susie’s face.

Bob lost his wife eighteen months ago and knows exactly what Susie’s going through. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s a singer and guitar player in a band. Together, perhaps they can fall back in love with life?

With Bob by her side, Susie discovers that, sometimes, the most unexpected gifts of all are the ones that bring two lonely hearts together . . .

This was a great easy Christmas read. Susie and Bob were loveable characters and were able to fall into this Christmas love story.

Tis the season for a grumpy-sunshine romance with a side of murder and mayhem!

She hates Christmas and everything that goes with it…

Explosives expert Elliana hates Christmas—and the only good thing about this holiday season is that her gorgeous neighbor seems allergic to shirts and clothes in general. She knows because she’s been watching him for months with her drone. She’s never stalked anyone before, but he not only doesn’t seem to mind, he puts on nightly strip shows just for her. When she finally works up the courage to talk to him, she stumbles right into a murder—that he’s committed.

But this holiday is one she’ll never forget…

According to Theo, the whole murder thing is no big deal—the dead guy needed killing. And while her hot neighbor wants her, protecting her is his main priority. So when she’s targeted, this cinnamon roll hitman kidnaps her for her own good. With a deadly threat hunting them and a hot hitman who keeps handcuffing her to him “for her own protection”, Elliana is starting to reconsider her grinchy stance on the holidays. And when everything finally comes to a head, the results are bound to be…explosive.

Elliana is not a fan of Christmas and her next-door neighbour is the opposite and has a ton of lights and decorations. The funny thing is that Elliana is so interested in the ones that he has in his home that she even has a drone so that she can spy on the inside, as she spies on Theo he knows what she’s doing and he decides that he wants to have a little fun with it. This was a reverse grumpy sunshine Christmas read that is sure to bring you into the spirit of Christmas.

A SWEET and FUNNY romantic comedy for readers of Sandy Barker and Mandy Baggot.

When your life goes off-piste how do you climb back up the mountain?

Holly Roberts is well-known among family and friends for despising the cold, so no one is more surprised than her when she agrees to pack her bags and move to the Swiss Alps. But after getting her heart broken, spending the winter season working as a sous-chef for wealthy twins Genevieve and gorgeous Luca, is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Verbier is home to millionaires and Holly has never felt more out of place in the snow-capped wooden chalet. Thankfully new friends, chalet girl Liv and chef Xavier are there to be her guide in this new world of après-ski and fondue, and to teach her how to get off chair lifts! And then there is Luca… rich, handsome, kind but what is the catch?

She just wanted to escape her problems but could she get her Happily Ever After?

This was a cute fast Christmas read that will get you into the spirit with this rom-com. Holly despises the cold and decides to move to Switzerland and work at a ski resort after having a bad breakup as an impulse decision, so what could go wrong when she meets a handsome man named Luca?

Le Vie En Rose

Bookshop owner Sarah Smith has been offered the opportunity to exchange bookshops with her new Parisian friend for 6 months! And saying yes is a no-brainer – after all, what kind of a romantic would turn down a trip to Paris? Even if it does mean leaving the irresistible Ridge Warner behind, Sarah’s sure she’s in for the holiday of a lifetime – complete with all the books she can read!

Picturing days wandering around Shakespeare & Co, munching on croissants, sipping café au laits and people-watching on the Champs-Elysees Sarah boards the plane. But will her dream of a Parisian Happily-Ever-After come true? Or will Sarah realise that the dream isn’t quite as rosy in reality…

I was disappointed with this book. I found I didn’t like the way that it was written there were some spelling errors. I always love a good romance but this one was just sad. I thought that it was going to be a good read before Christmas time but I was mistaken. I’m just glad that I got this book HQN Books and I didn’t have to spend actual money on it. Because I would have been disappointed if I had.

One kiss changes everything …

Ty Daniels has been picking on me since we were kids. As my best friend’s older brother, he apparently decided it was his job years ago and hasn’t stopped, even though we’re both adults now.

To be fair, I give as good as I get.

And it all got worse last year, when he kissed me under the mistletoe.

Now he’s back in town, newly single, and there’s mistletoe everywhere.

And my best friend wants to make sure her brother and I can get along since we’ll both be in the wedding party when she gets married this summer.

Little does she know, getting along isn’t a problem for long …

But Ty’s only in town for a little while, and I’m trying to build a life following my own dreams.

Can my Christmastime fling with my best friend’s older brother become more?

Or is it destined to become nothing but a bittersweet memory?

This standalone best friend’s brother, enemies to lovers romance gives you all the holiday feels with a side of sizzling steam!

This is the first book that I have read by this author.

This was a cute quick enemy to lovers book. Oliva and Ty have known one another since childhood so Ty knew how to get on her nerves, they have great banter and chemistry. When they kiss under the mistletoe their connection gets ignited and they have a wonderful fling but will it be just a fling or will they be able to have more?
