Saylor Woodson is the one girl I can’t have, and the only girl I want.
She’s my best friend’s little sister, and completely off limits.
We have a history, a connection—one that no one else knows about.
One that I’ve tried hard to forget.
I’ve kept my distance for years, which was easy because she’d been away at school.
But now she’s home, and she’s everywhere I turn.
And the way that I want her is unexplainable.
She’s always on my mind.
She’s sunshine on a cloudy day.
So, I do everything in my power to keep my distance, because her brother is my best friend.
My family.
But the pull is too strong.
Overpowering in every way possible.
I want to claim her and keep her and make her mine.
So, we cross that line in the sand—slowly at first.
Until I’m drowning in this girl and can’t find my way up for air.
Betrayal runs deep, and guilt hangs over me like a dark cloud.
But I can’t seem to walk away, no matter how hard I try.
Because she makes me want things that I never thought possible.
And now that I’ve had a taste of forever, I’m willing to risk everything to keep it.
But can we weather the storm that’s coming for us?
Only time will tell.

Saylor and King have been friends since they were young with him being friends with her brother Hayes. Saylor is opening her own bookstore with the help of King and his construction company. Something comes up and she needs to stay with King. With them being force proximity it’s only a matter of time before they can’t hold onto there feelings needing to give in. Brothers’ friend or childhood friends are always going to be one of my favorite tropes because it gives and extra layer to the story because they have history with one another which this a fantastic read. I can’t wait to see who’s next.

Bestselling author Kristy Marie delivers a high-octane fake relationship romance where a fiery engineer down on her luck agrees to be the pretend girlfriend of her infuriating (and infuriatingly attractive) former best friend, a reckless driver who might be her ticket back to the top… if their explosive chemistry doesn’t blow them apart first.

Cole:

I used to rule the racetrack. Now, I’m just a hothead on a losing streak. Desperate for a win, I’ve alienated everyone, burned every bridge, and run out of options. Except one. Lola Quinn: the brilliant, fiery engineer who could turn my luck around. Too bad she hates my guts. Five years ago, I walked away from her, leaving a trail of heartbreak and regret. Now, I’m back with an offer she can’t refuse… if I can convince her to forget the past and take one last chance on me.

Lola:

My career is toast, thanks to my spectacularly bad judgment. Now I’m jobless, desperate, and considering a proposition from the one man who could make things worse: Cole Lawson, Formula One’s hottest driver… and my former best friend. His proposition: fake girlfriend, fake relationship, and an actual job. It’s a terrible idea. A recipe for a high-octane cocktail of chaos and charm. And unfortunately, I am still a sucker for both.

You, Me, and Lucky Number 13 is a fake dating, romantic comedy and a complete standalone.

F1 romances seem to be a new favourite of mine. Cole is the grump on the outside, on the inside he’s been crushing on Lola. Lola is now out of a job needing to find another one and the last person she thought would give her a job did. Cole hires her to be his fake girlfriend and vow to not cross any lines between them. Lola and Cole do have a history so, may be a little problematic with having some misunderstandings from the past. The banter between these two and then knowing how to tease the other. The connection and chemistry are kindle melting. Kristy is always releasing amazing, wonderful, emotional and thought-provoking reads, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

She wasn’t some random vacation fling like everyone thought. She was my brother’s ex-girlfriend. A forbidden addiction I knew better than to touch.

I was escaping my life, stuck at a crossroads, and needing some clarity.

She was on the run, hiding from the press and the world after everything crumbled around her.

It wasn’t planned, but we were inevitable like a runaway train. We couldn’t stop it even if we tried.

For ten days, she was mine.

But now everything is back to normal. I’m a doctor, she’s a Hollywood princess, and lucky for me, our paths rarely cross.

That is until her dark past comes roaring back and she needs my help.

Once again, I don’t know how to stay away. Every fiery word is a form of foreplay. Every stolen touch is a decadent dance with temptation.

I need her. I crave her. I can’t get enough of her.

Only now our secrets are multiplying. The lies we’re telling are getting out of control. And what initially felt right now feels like a complicated mess.

I may be undeniably infatuated with Tinsley Monroe, but she’ll never truly be mine.

Stone is wanting to get away and relax from everything that has happened as of late. Tinsley is living the star life and getting a little overwhelmed, wanting to get away. She ends up on Stones boat being a stowaway. Stone takes a little convincing, but he agrees to have her stay and they embark on a ten-day trip, when they get back, they go back to their lives Stone being a doctor in Boston and Tinsley a singer in LA trying to fix her music career. One day Tinsley ends up in Boston two years later and needs Stones help. Watching these two go through their journey they have everything from the chemistry, love, banter, heartache everything you’re looking for in a couple.

We are the cast-offs, the forgotten, the broken; we are dark, dangerous men haunted by our violent pasts.

The Guardian collects us, rehabilitates us, and gives us a new lease on life…if we follow a few, simple rules:

Once you’re in, there’s no going back; never take a life; loyalty to the brotherhood above all.

My mother killed my father in a murder-suicide. The old bastard deserved it, so I’m not exactly mourning his loss. My brothers and I attended the funeral, of course. We were the only three there, and only for our mother. Walking away from that funeral to clear my head, I’m accosted on the sidewalk by a fiery, feisty crimson-haired siren with a foul mouth and a body wars have been fought over. The problem? I have enemies. Bad men who will kill anyone even seen near me, just to spite me. Why? I used to be an assassin for a crime syndicate and refused to kill an innocent woman. They want me dead…and Terra, just for being seen with me. We’re on the run and I have to keep us both alive without breaking my vow, and try to figure out if it’s mere lust pulling me to Terra Connolly, or something deeper that could change both our lives…

I was able to read this book in one sitting. It’s everything that you would expect from a Jasinda read. It was sexy, dirty, raw and real. Terra is in need for a date to her friend Em’s wedding so, she goes outside to find the first hot guy that she finds. The guy that she finds is Saxon and he’s known as the Bloody Viking for a reason. While reading it was like I was watching a movie that I didn’t want to end. Sol is up next and I can’t wait for him.
