A sizzling and swoony single dad, forbidden, billionaire romance from USA Today best-selling author Marni Man…

Captivated.
Addicted.
Mesmerized.

All the things I felt the minute I saw Addison Lark.
The last thing I’d expected was to fall in love at a strip club.
But Addison was the woman of my dreams.
It didn’t matter that I spent an obscene amount of money just to talk to her.
The fiery redhead made me feel things I’d never felt before.

But she didn’t want anything to do with me.
And she left without a backward glance.
Making me crave her even more.

Imagine my shock when we unexpectedly met again, presenting the most unexpected problem—Addison Lark was forbidden.

But did that stop me?
Did that stop us?

I’d made a promise to start living my life, and I wasn’t going to let that woman walk away for a second time.

Ridge is a billionaire fantastic father to his daughter she is the cutest. Addison is strong and independent with being the sweetest, she is wanting to pay her sister, pay her school loans and a trip, so she decides that she is going to become a stripper to make some extra cash. Ridge and Addison have a unique meet when they do they have an electric connection that will keep you glued to your kindle to the last page. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

Too bad someone else has different plans.

After a national newspaper article reveals to everyone in Maple Ridge about her past and her shame, Jess’s life and plans are put in jeopardy. Prejudices in the town run strong against her—prejudices because of where she spent the last five years.

But it’s not only her life that is at risk. Everything that matters to Troy, the man she’s falling in love with, will be ruined…unless she finds a way to stop it all from crumbling before it’s too late.

Stop it before the truth destroys Jess and all that she loves…

The dual timeline story is the final novel in Hidden Secrets trilogy. The books in the trilogy must be read in order. All other books in the Carson Brother series are standalone.

This has left me with my feelings all over the place. Jess has been though the ringer with her past and soon comes calling her back. This read has it all romance, love, humor, tragedy and suspense plus more. I have read other books by this author, but this one is one that had me the most emotional with everything that happens for Troy and Jess to get there happy ending they both deserve.

Pain trapped me in this house. Can love set me free?

Death had been chasing me my entire life. I survived the horrors of war, but it was the aftermath that truly destroyed me.

People called me a recluse, but the only time I didn’t feel like I was suffocating was inside that house.

For my daughter, I kept some semblance of normalcy by implementing a rigid routine. Once a week, I forced myself to walk to the diner at the end of the block—a ritual I despised but relied on as my last anchor to the real world.

Until the day a “Closed” sign on the door shattered my fragile existence. Worse, the new owner was the most haunting ghost from my past.

It had been years since I’d laid eyes on Gwendolyn Pierce. She hated me—and rightly so. But when a film crew arrived in town to dig into my past, she became my only ally.

With my secrets threatened, I leaned on Gwen, forging a connection neither of us could deny. But with a past as dark as ours, I feared it would eclipse any hope for a future.

I always said that when Death finally came for me, I would be ready, eager, and alone.
Always alone.

But for Gwen, maybe I could face the world again as long as it meant I could be alone—with her.

I went into this book completely blind just knew it was going to be an emotional one. After reading, I’m completely floored. Truett and Gwen take you on a baffling emotional journey that I didn’t think that would have such an affect on me. Truett has a huge weight that no one should carry. Gwen was a fantastic help to him when he needed it the most. I felt like I was going along with them with everything they were doing. Aly has this amazing talent to write a book with such feeling and emotion that you didn’t think were possible. Grief is hard for everyone and we don’t really know how someone is truly suffering.
