Step into New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy’s mesmerizing and emotionally charged romance featuring Rowan Lancaster, the son of Crew and Wren from A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime. With an exclusive bonus scene.

This was supposed to be the best year of Rowan Lancaster’s life. Instead, thanks to a massive linebacker, his ankle is broken and his last football season at Lancaster Prep is done. Just like that. Now his days are dull and gray. Boring.

Except for the days that include Arabella Hartley Thomas.

She’s the girl everyone wants to be friends with. Beautiful but approachable. Stylish. Quirky. Yet she gets under Rowan’s skin like no other, and he doesn’t understand why. Sure, they flirt and banter and give each other grief. But now she invades his dreams and makes his heart pound so hard he’s sure she can see it.

Until suddenly, not only does Arabella see every part that he wishes he could hide, he realizes if he let himself, he could fall―hard.

Which is the same day he learns she might be leaving…for good.

Arabella is such a unique name I love it, and Rowan both go to the same private school. They both have their own secrets. Arabella is a firecracker with a great sense of humor. I loved how she would get under Rowan skin. Rowan is a rough guy on the outside when you get to know him you can see maybe he’s not that bad? Rowan is currently down on his luck not sure what to do or how to handle it all. The only thing that seems to brighten his day is Arabella. Rowan has a protectiveness to him over Arabella even as friends. They have fantastic banter, wonderful chemistry. Getting to see them get to know one another and break down their walls and getting to know one another was just the book that I was looking for.

Nathan Shaw has been keeping a secret since high school. It was so tightly intertwined with someone else’s that exposing the darkest facts meant he couldn’t keep the other to himself.

He’s had years of holding onto those truths. This also means he’s had to push away the one person who means more to him than anything—and in the process, all it does is make her think that he despises her like all of the other people in her life.

But that’s so far from the truth about his feelings that he holds so close to his heart.
Haven Larson has had an awful childhood growing up with an abusive father and a mother who tries her best, but sometimes the best can’t protect you from the monsters that hide in darkness.

One night, protecting her from those monsters, fell on the one boy she had loved for as long as she could remember. And now she knows that he can’t stand to be around her after discovering her secrets—or can he, because every time they are together, the sparks ignite and threaten to combust.

But it will take their darkest secrets being exposed in order for their feelings to come to light.

Haven and Nate’s story was a great way to end the series. Haven is a dog walker and co-owner of a new dog park that’s getting built and Nate is a rancher. Nate and Haven have been friends since high school, they were soulmates even before they even knew. There was a tragic event happened and it slowly pushed them away from one another, until an even brings them closer together some time later. The chemistry starts to bloom more then ever, Nate and Haven the banter they have is perfect. This was a heartfelt story that I couldn’t get enough of with the perfect ending. I’m excited to see what else Elliot has in store.

In my defense, I had no clue the gorgeous guy I had a wildly steamy night with was my brother’s best friend. Or the single dad of the little girl I was about to nanny.

I hadn’t seen Dr. Owen Fritz since I was twelve and he was twenty-four, but even back then, I didn’t care much about him.

He was doing his billionaire, master-of-the-universe, medical school thing, and I was too into art and books to notice anyone.

Now he’s cold and broody, but he doesn’t scare me the way he does everyone else.

He’s been scarred, but I’ve been scarred worse.

We both promise to leave that night in the past, vowing to keep this secret between us and stay professional from now on.

Especially since I’m living with him—sleeping down the hall from him—and his adorable little girl.

Until one night of hell changes everything and all those promises we’ve been struggling to keep don’t just break, they shatter.

Now there’s no holding him back.

And the more he watches me with those magnetic eyes or whisks me into dark corners and puts his heated hands on my body, the more I forget why what we’re doing is so undeniably forbidden.

We’re playing with an unstoppable fire.

And we’re both about to get burned.

People say that one night stands are just that one-night stands. Owen is a single dad that is in need of a nanny except the one that he’s about it hire is his sister’s best friend and the one he had a one night stand with, he hasn’t be able to stop thinking about her. Estlin has had a crush on Owen since she was younger but now that she’s older she may have a chance? The chemistry they have sparks were flying. Owen is able to open up to Estlin with ease and brought the best out in him. Estlin has had some struggles but is getting her life back on track and spending time in the studio working on her art. Hanging out with Owen she was able to see things that she didn’t before and got the inspiration she needed. Watching them both come out of their shell and see the real them was beautiful. I can’t wait to see who’s next. Also find the name Estlin to be a great unique name.

Wild nights and hot flings are all fun and games…until someone falls in love…
Single dads don’t get to have many things to themselves.

Which is why I greedily hoarded my, um, adult time with the sexy-as-sin tourist who stayed at my family’s ski lodge whenever she was in town. I didn’t even tell her about my son.

And that was fine. Who had time for romance, anyway? Certainly not me.

Then we got snowed in together right before Christmas and everything changed.

Spending time with Carolina in forced proximity made me realize just how amazing she is. How perfectly we fit together.
How much I want to keep her here after the snow melts.

But she has a life of her own far from my small town. I can’t ask her to give that up for a readymade family.

My only question now is how I’ll be able to go back to my real life when she leaves and takes my heart with her…

Carolina finds herself going to the Wilde Ski Resort again for a conference where Oliver works. Oliver’s life is about is son Joey and his family. One night at the bar Oliver see’s Carolina across from the bar and instantly knew that he was going to be in a world of trouble. Carolina and Oliver start out as a one-night stand with no strings because they live in opposite states. They both have painful pasts they are both hesitating to share with one another but when a snowstorm comes and leaves Carolina stuck at the resort just before Christmas, something happens between them, and they can’t old back any longer and give into their feelings and have their true HEA. I absolutely loved this. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

[New Post] ARC Review: Headed for Home by Harloe Rae

From USA Today & Amazon Top 5 bestselling author Harloe Rae comes a witty and heartfelt romance about a former baseball pro determined to head straight for home with the sassy single mom he was destined to reconnect with.

I’m willing to admit that I shouldn’t read spicy scenes in public.
But in my defense, the opportunity rarely rises elsewhere.
As a single mom and farm owner, my time is stretched thinner than horse hair.
Besides, I’d reached a pivotal peak in the story and couldn’t put it down
.

That is until someone bumps into me.
My phone launches into the air like a base hit, but the device is caught before smashing into the ground.
It comes as no surprise considering the guy is a professional baseball star.

Drake Granger isn’t the boy I remember, but I could still pick him out of the roster while blindfolded.
This charming man doesn’t hesitate to tease me about what he spies on my screen.
He also doesn’t break stride before asking me out on a date.

But as previously mentioned, spare time isn’t a luxury I possess…

Drake claims that whatever I’m willing to give is plenty.
It doesn’t take long to prove that’s not the game he’s playing.
This pro is done striking out, and headed straight for home.

For me this was a DNF at 35% I couldn’t get into it and couldn’t get a connection to either of the characters. I have read other books by this author and had thoroughly enjoyed them but this one was just a miss for me.
