For as long as I can remember, Lachlan West has been my brother’s best friend and the love of my life. Trouble is, he kissed me four years ago and then never spoke to me again.

Lachlan is a great single dad that works as a firefighter. Ainsley is a journalist writing a story about Lachlan and how he rescued a girl from a fire. Ainsley and Lachlan haven’t seen one another in years and when she comes back to town and needs somewhere to stay Lachlan takes her in. While living with one another old feelings start to come back and realized they both had feelings for one another all this time. The chemistry and banter between these two are top notch leaving me laughing out loud.
