This is the first of this series that I have read.
Rose is at Kai’s house for protection after being attacked and to heal. Kai agrees to protect Rose but in the mists of it, he never imagined he would start to catch feelings for her. The loyalty and caringness that he shows Rose is just swoon! He helps her heal and find her strength again after all she’s been through. This was a dark, raw, real read that kept me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what was going to happen.
