Once she got pregnant her whole world changed and needed a place to go so she went to the Scottish Highlands to start over and have a better life for her daughter. She now has a job at the estate as a housekeeper. Walker comes home from being gone for a few years due to work being a private security guard. They both have jobs on the estate and they are bound to see one another. They have an instant connection and crazy chemistry that’s real and raw that keeps you sucked into the very end. I didn’t want the Adair series to end but when I heard that there was going to be a spin off I was excited to see what was going to happen in this wonderful romantic suspense rollercoaster that had me hooked from the start.
