As our band of survivors flee the city, we cling to one hope: Danger lies behind us, not ahead. A safe haven beckons, if only we can reach it. New dangers threaten us from every side. We struggle to hold on to each other, to love, to hope, and to the promise of tomorrow.

Wow I was gripped to the story after the first chapter. This isn’t a book that I would normally read because I would find them to be a snooze fest but this one actually kept my attention.
There were a lot of twists and turns that kept my interest and made me hope that this doesn’t happen considering there’s Covid at the moment. I don’t know how I would have been able to handle some of the stuff these guys went through.
Ripper and Kenzie were able to find love during a pandemic and have a hot and steamy relationship.
