When I find books that are retellings I’m always interested in reading them because I love seeing the different things or twists that the author comes up with. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite movies of all time so getting to read this book was wonderful. This book follows Mal and Jolie, Jolie is hilarious with the things that she comes up with. Mal is bitter and kept to himself after his accident. They have amazing chemistry and kept me wanting more. This is the first book by this author and definitely not going to be my last.
