This was an enemy to lovers, Cinderella retelling with a modern twist. Jackson and Lola are the best of friends till Jackson does something he shouldn’t have, which he then apologizes for later on and tries to get her to believe that he is her Prince charming. I enjoyed getting to see Jackson’s POV and getting to see why he did what he did. While reading it reminded me of the movie A Cinderella Story.
