FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
Recent high school graduate, Savannah Nightingale loves her best friend Nate Deacon, but he’s an emotional drain.
Dark, angry, and volatile, keeping him in line over the last twelve years has taken its toll. He’s doesn’t get along with people, and she’s the only person he interacts with on the regular.
She’s the only one who can pull him back from the edge before he snaps.
His older brother Jeremy is the complete opposite. Happy, fun-loving, and laidback, when he’s home from college for the summer, he starts hanging out with Savy. Jeremy wants to free her from Nate’s dark hold, and wants to help her have some long overdue fun…then finds himself surprisingly in love.
When Nate reacts badly, turns out, Jeremy will do anything for the girl he loves.

This book is a love triangle in a way? Which made me love this book because I love the love triangle dynamic in books. There is just some extra something about them.
Nate and savannah are the best of friends, but he is a little clingy, that is because she is the only one that is able to calm Nate down when he is angry, it’s like she has this magical hold on him from a young age.
Nate’s brother Jeremy wants to show Savannah that she has more to life than his brother because she is always taking care of Nate. So, when Savannah and Jeremy go out and have fun, they start to have a connection. They have to keep it from Nate because they were afraid of how he was going to flip out.
This book tackles mental health, which I think is a good thing because it is becoming so common now, so to have a book to help someone that could be going through the same thing is kind of awesome.
