I have read a few other books by this author and each time I read her books she always gets me in the feels.

The relationship between Anastasia and River is chaotic because they both pretend; they don’t have feelings for one another and I few times I just wanted to be like HEY! They are complete opposite. River is a god on campus he’s always there for his brothers and teammates and due to that it doesn’t matter how much River wants to be with Ana. Ana is beautiful, smart she’s studying to be a lawyer. One day everything comes crashing now and the one that helps are and keeps her from falling deeper is River. I was kind of shocked when I read that. I thought that it was going to be one of ana’s friends.

This slow burn romance was emotional as it was beautiful to read. It felt real and didn’t feel rushed. One of the things that I loved was how River was able to open up to Ana, not many people can.

River is defiantly a book boyfriend you all should meet.
