This was a wonderful second chance, small town, read. Ledger and Asher first met fifteen years ago when they were teenagers at a summer bonfire and ended up going opposite ways at the end. Even seeing one another years later the connection they had was still there the moment they locked eyes on each other. They are now able to clear the air on some things on how it ended as teenagers, now as adults, they are able to explore what they have missed during the time apart. I know the book is about Asher and Ledger but I loved Tootie and Grandma a little more, they both had me laughing out loud.
