This book had everything that I was looking for.
Sarah is a scientist with her PhD and wants tenured at Berkley. Due to her job she needed to move to Cali so that she wouldn’t have as far travel since she doesn’t drive.
Braden is a Captain of his fire house and happens to be friends with Sarah’s brother. So, Sarah’s staying at Braden’s in his spare room while she goes to work. Her brother Finn tells him to stay away from Sarah but being roomies how long will that last? This book had all the feels with a little extra spice that will leave you loving these two.
