So our boss is making us report it together for an entire weekend. At a gorgeous oceanfront villa with sailboats and cocktails and oh…he looks good in a sport coat.

Jack brings out my insecurities. He makes me doubt my instincts. And ignites a desire in me that I haven’t felt. Ever.

But I know he’s hiding something. And I know I’m risking more than my job by pursuing the truth. If I have to choose, do I want the story? Or him?

My Thoughts:

Enemies to lovers? sign me up. I love books that are in this genre. This book was amazing. I had to read it in one sitting so that I would know how it was going to end.

Linden and Jake were paired for a work assignment and there were some conditions and understanding that what ever they had it was fake; it was all a lie. (little did they know) Linden had her mind made up, her job was more important then a relationship right now. As Linden and Jake there, relationship grew it felt natural and well paced. I will be definitely looking into Stacey’s work.
