Summary:

He is broken,

He is fine.

He is wanted,

But he’s not mine.

Blake Carson can’t afford to have a life. Between working full-time as a tattoo artist and caring for his disabled twin brother Jacob, his plate is more than full – and he prefers it that way.

But his meticulous planning is turned on its head when he meets the upbeat and beautiful Audrey Wright and her butterfly tattoo.

Now, through a complicated maze of coincidence and fate, Blake begins to question if maybe there could be more to his life than just work and Jacob.

That is, if the guilt doesn’t eat him alive first.

With the help of Dr. Vanessa Travetti and a girl he doesn’t think he deserves, can Blake convince himself that even the bad guy deserves a happy ending?

My Thoughts:

I don’t even know where to begin with my review. This book was the first that I have read by this author and I plan on reading her other books that she puts out because this book is amazing. The author can rip your heart out and shatter it, stomp on it and still be able to but it all back together in the end.

This pulled on all my heart strings and had me crying because it was such a beautiful book. It is one of my favourite reads so far this year.

Blake is one of my favorite book boyfriends why? because he goes though so many emotional situations just to find out who he is.

Blake is a tattoo artist and very talented. He also has a twin brother named Jake and he looks like Blake but on the inside, he is a 5year old kid because of an accident that he had, and Blake loves him unconditionally. Blakes whole life is to help Jake he takes him to daycare he picks him up. Blake feels like he doesn’t deserve to be happy or fall in love because he needs to take care of his brother.

One day Audrey meets Blake because she wants to get a butterfly tattoo that is a replica of her sisters. From that moment on Blake knew that things would never be the same again.

While I was reading this book, I was on an emotional roller coaster I went from mad to sad to crying to smiling. This book was beautiful and inspiring. I think is defiantly one that you want to pick up and read.
