Summary:

The second and final book in the Dirtier Duet by Lisa Renee Jones.

Abbie swore that she was done with rich, powerful men. They’ve hurt her. They’ve hurt her mother, who she will do anything to protect. She’s done playing the submissive. She’s ready to fight back.

The problem is that Gabe Maxwell is one of those rich, powerful men and he refuses to be ignored. He’s in her path and she can’t seem to steer clear of him. He wants her. She wants him. But it’s not that simple.

There is more to her story, more than Gabe knows, but then, there is more to Gabe’s story than Abbie knows, too.

My Thoughts:

I was able to read this book in just a few hours because I was just dying to know what was going to happen. I’m just sad this duo is over. I would have loved to see more of there story.

One of the things that I enjoyed about this book was how Gabe and Abbie grew closer together and learned to trust one another. I loved the dynamic they both had and how they made the other one better. Their dog Dexter was so adorable I loved him.

While I was reading His Demand I was wishing for Gabe to have his own book because I would have loved to know what he was thinking in certain parts. Now that I have this book and get to know what happened in his past and finally knowing about KM WOW! I wasn’t expecting it at all. I understand why he was worried about telling Abbie.

I loved how interesting of a dynamic that Gabe’s dad played. He added the extra special something to the story that I didn’t think it needed but it was great to see how that story unfolded.

After reading this I’m going to look into reading more of Lisa’s work. She writes such compelling stories. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
