The music plays on…

It’s official – Micah Jacobs and Charlie Blake are dating. Now they’re learning how to be an ordinary high school couple, navigating things like PDA and saying the “L” word. With the holiday season approaching, Micah and Charlie are swept up in the most magical time of year.

But when an unexpected tragedy strikes her family, Charlie is left devastated. Isolating herself from her new boyfriend and the rest of the world, not even the music she and Micah once shared is enough to heal her shattered heart. In this emotional continuation of The Songs in Our Hearts, will Micah’s songs be enough to remind Charlie of their love – and of all that is worth remembering?

After an awkward first encounter, Birdie and Daniel are forced to work together in a Seattle hotel where a famous author leads a mysterious and secluded life in this romantic contemporary novel from the author of Alex, Approximately.

Mystery-book aficionado Birdie Lindberg has an overactive imagination. Raised in isolation and homeschooled by strict grandparents, she’s cultivated a whimsical fantasy life in which she plays the heroic detective and every stranger is a suspect. But her solitary world expands when she takes a job the summer before college, working the graveyard shift at a historic Seattle hotel.

In her new job, Birdie hopes to blossom from introverted dreamer to brave pioneer, and gregarious Daniel Aoki volunteers to be her guide. The hotel’s charismatic young van driver shares the same nocturnal shift and patronizes the waterfront Moonlight Diner where she waits for the early morning ferry after work. Daniel also shares her appetite for intrigue, and he’s stumbled upon a real-life mystery: a famous reclusive writer—never before seen in public—might be secretly meeting someone at the hotel.

To uncover the writer’s puzzling identity, Birdie must come out of her shell…discovering that most confounding mystery of all may be her growing feelings for the elusive riddle that is Daniel.

Truly Us Book (a companion novella that can be read as a stand-alone)

Kayla
From the outside I was balanced. On time, en pointe, always perfect.
But everyone has secrets, and mine kept me alone, guarded and hiding. Safe.
I rarely left my guard down, until I met Enzo.
Hot drummer, good guy with big dreams and patient to a fault, it was no wonder he made my perfect walls crumble

Enzo
I had the world in the palm of my hands until I met her. She made me lose my breath, my head, my rhythm.
It was always one step forward, two steps back with her. We were supposed to be friends with benefits, but I wanted more.
Problem was, I carried a secret of my own. Would it make her run?

When do secrets become too much to handle?

This book’s characters deal with a sensitive topic. The author is focused on the healing, but please proceed with caution.

Delaney Mills is haunted by darkness. Not of a spiritual kind, but a terrible past that all the rum in the world cannot chase away. Enter Valentine King, a sexy and irresistible man with connections to the world of Voodoo—a world that Delaney is desperately trying to break into.

The group wants to remain a secret and will do whatever it takes to keep the two quiet. But threats and attacks on her life don’t deter Delaney’s desire to expose the Saints’ sins.

A year ago, she begged me to stay.
A year later, it’s my turn to beg her not to go.
My obsession. My downfall.
I tried to resist, to keep her at a distance.
I tried to save myself.
But no one will be saved here, not even a selfish bastard like me.
My life has always been about sport and family, including my stupid brothers. Until that night, the night I made the worst decision of my life. And I’m still paying the price for it.
We both are.
But the time has come to take back control of the situation, to risk it all, to convince her to let me in because she can’t be anything other than mine.

I am Ian O’Connor, and I’m about to accept this challenge: try to hold onto the only woman I’ll ever be able to love.
And even if I already know how this badly written romance is going to end, I won’t back away. This time, I’m going all the way. Because I only want her.
And I have no intention of losing her.

I’m an O’Connor, the O’Connors never lose
