My Thoughts:
This is the second book that I have read by Maggie. So, I feel like this series can be read as a standalone. Now I’m going to have to go an read the other 2 in the series because these books are amazing.
This book follows Rhett and Tasha. Rhett is a singer and Tasha is the owner of Left Coast, the record label that Rhett sings at.
Tasha was previously in a relationship with a rock star and she swore off all rockers because she didn’t want to get hurt the same way. Tasha is also having trouble with her record label because when her father passed away she was going to take over but when she was dealing with the grief her uncle took over and took all the money. Now she’s trying to keep the label afloat, so she needs a successful singer (Rhett) to save her company. In doing so Rhett would have to use his fathers’ surname and he refuses to do that.
Rhett is a bad boy rocker who didn’t have a great childhood he felt abandoned by his father because his half brother and sister got all the attention. He was just living in here shadow.
Rhett and Tasha have an instant connection and an I loved reading every minute of it.
