Summary:
They say love and hate are the same feelings experienced under different circumstances, and it’s true.
The man who comes to me in my dreams also haunts me in my nightmares.
He is a brilliant lawyer.
A skilled criminal.
A beautiful liar.
A bully and a savior, a monster and a lover.
Ten years ago, he made me run away from the small town where we lived. Now, he came for me in New York, and he isn’t leaving until he takes me with him.
Vicious
She is a starving artist.
Pretty and evasive like cherry blossom.
Ten years ago, she barged into my life unannounced and turned everything upside down.
She paid the price.
Emilia LeBlanc is completely off-limits, my best friend’s ex-girlfriend. The woman who knows my darkest secret, and the daughter of the cheap Help we hired to take care of our estate.
That should deter me from chasing her, but it doesn’t.
So, she hates me. Big fucking deal.
She better get used to me
My Thoughts
OMFG this book. This book kind of remained me of 50 Shades in a way but this one was WAY BETTER.
Vicious is one of those characters that you hate at first but then you end up falling in love with in the end. When I first started reading this book I was completely sucked in and I didn’t want to put it down and when I did I was over thinking about what was going to happen next between him an Emilia, when I got back to reading it I was completely off. I loved the way the story panned out.
Vicious is funny at some moments that he has with the things that he does say. With what ever Emilia had to say he always had a come back waiting it was great to read. There relationship was a love hate relationship and it was intense at some moments that make you want to read faster because you want to know if they were finally going to kiss or not. They had a lot of sexual tension an finally when its time to them to have sex its like holy shit.
Vicious had some secrets that he wanted to keep hidden but when some certain things came to light and he told Emilia about it I thought that it was one of the sweetest things ever. Even when he realized that he was telling her it was crazy because he said that he had never told any one not even his best friends. When he told his dad, he didn’t believe him.
I can’t wait to see what the next book is going to be like with Rosie and Dean if its anything like Vicious then I am in for a treat.
