When I first found out that this book was coming out I was super excited because I loved Peter I thought that he was an amazing character and I really wanted him to end up with Alice but Amanda had other plans.
I loved how we could get into Peters head and get to know how he got turned into a vampire and how h got to meet Ezra.
After reading this book I think that I was most shocked at the one he wrote about Jack because in the series he seemed like he didn’t really like him, I wouldn’t go as far as hate but a really dislike him. In the letter, it was like a father/son relationship instead of brothers. When it came to letting Alice go I think he shouldn’t have done that. The way that Jack as treated Peter he shouldn’t have let him have his happiness with Alice Jack could have been with Jane and she would have only been a blood whore to him and she may still be alive.
We also get to see the letters that he wrote to Elise after she dies. For those readers that really feel the pain from the story that they are reading this is one for sure. The way he acted in my blood approves series you now know why reading this. Jack seemed to be a bit immature because he over reacted a few times to a few things.
All and all this book was good despite the few hiccups that happened. I give this book a 4/5.
