In this book we get to see Dimitri’s family an I absolutely loved that. What I didn’t like was that Lisa was a bit whiny saying that rose needs to stay an doesn’t want her to leave but Rose needed to go after Dimitri. He’s the love of her life so how could she not go after him and save him. I mean Buffy and Angel moment again no?

The first half of the book was a little slow but once it picked up it was fast paced and didn’t stop.

I also loved Sidney in this book she became more open to the vampire life than she has in the previous books.

I’m definitely going to be re reading this series again in the future.
