This being the second book in the vampire series I was pretty excited to read it especially after the first one. I really enjoyed it.

This books Rose and Dimitri are still training. The feelings that they have for one another are really strong. There feelings also can’t be acted upon. There also equally stubborn.

There is a character death which is really sad especially with how Rose acts you can feel her pain because Richelle does such an amazing job conveying the heartache. I really would have loved to get Eddies POV on this as well.

I loved Dimitri in this one he seems more genuine than the last one.

I loved this book more than the last. We also got to meet a new character Adrian in this books and he’s absolutely adorable, it’s hard not to love him.

The battle scenes that are in this book get pretty intense. They make you want to flip the pages faster just so you can get to the end and see what happens.
