After I read twilight I was recommended this book I was a little apprehensive to read it but it being about vampires ( favourite type of book ) I had to give it a read.

This book totally blew me away, by the end of it I said twilight who?

Rose is very much a bad ass character she’s totally empowering. She’s a dhampir which is half vampire half human. She’s also training to became someone who protects the Moroi. Watching her train was pretty awesome. Especially when she was with Dimitri.

Dimitri is someone that protects Moroi but the only difference between him and Rose is that he is an official Guardian, Rose is not yet. I loved how Dimitri and Rose came together.

Lisa is Roses best friend they have been through everything together. They have a special bond due to Lisa being in a car accident. With the bond Rose can feel everything that Lisa feels. and can also see what she sees at times.

The way this story unfolds is really amazing.

I have to say that if your into vampires or interested in diving into that world than you should definitely pick this up its a fantastic read.
