When I read the first two books I always thought that Boyce and Pearl needs to have there own book.

Boyce and Pearl have known one another since they were 7 when he saved her from drowning (how sweet). From that moment on that formed an unbreakable bond. Boyce didn’t have an easy lift growing up. His mom left when he was young

Leaving him with his alcoholic brother and abusive father who never really cared for him at all. Pearl she was not wanting to disappoint her mother she was accepted into a many medical schools but it was more her mothers goal then hers.

Boyce and Pearl end up going there separate ways and 4 years later come back to one another and it seems like not a day as gone past, they can just pick up where they had left off. I loved there relationship it was truly captivating.
